Had a great time with our grandkids, nice to have a small kitchen and refrigerator on trip.Just wish the breakfast offered was a breakfast.

After waiting for 30 minutes for the employee to let us into the hotel, we went to the room which was filthy. There were stains on the bedding and the nonsmoking room smelled of smoke. We didn't stay in the room.

Nice minimalist hotel experience. Super close to the beach and village area. No gym, but does have pool and laundry. This was perfect for my husband and my needs. We would definitely utilize this hotel again if needed!

There was no pots to cook and no lotion or conditioner for my hair. Those are the small things one expects would be in a room these days

Do not go unless your a heavy sleeper you can hear everything air vents make noise it was a bad decision to stay there

While we had a room on the 2nd floor, next to the stairwell and side closest to the freeway, it was relatively quiet - and with the A/C running you could barely hear the freeway noise. Get there early for check-in and you can probably get a room in a better location. The TV reception was horrible. The front desk person came up the first night and couldn't do anything about it and said he would have an engineer come the next day, after noon. We were out until late the next day and the TV still had horrible reception upon our return.

The hotel room was filthy. I had to go to the nearest Target and buy Lysol wipes and disinfectant spray to clean the room. There were greasy hand prints on the headboard and cup stains on the table. It was disgusting.

I stay at this hotel frequently. I checked in on September 11th 2015and was supposed to leave today on September 14 2015. I left yesterday afternoon on September 14th 2015. I was very dissatisfied with your hotel this stay. The room had a unpleasant odor.I requested cooking utensils both days I was there and was told they would get them to me right away. When I went to the front desk to get them myself, I couldn't find an employee to help me. I tried three times. The pool area was filthy when I arrived Friday afternoon, and still hadn't been cleaned when I decided to leave Sunday. There were dirty wet tools, cigarette butts, empty food containers all over the place. Coming back late on Saturday night, I had to make my way through several people drinking and just hanging around,in order to go inside. This stay was extremely disappointing and I had already paid for a night that I didn't even stay because of the cleanliness and noise until 3 AM in the morning. To give you credit this is the first time since I've been staying here that I have felt uncomfortable and dissatisfied. I think it's time to change hotels.

I ended up staying with you guys for two nights and had to leave the hotel early due to an argument and misunderstanding in which your female worker had called the cops on myself. She not only ruined my whole night, but she refused to listen to my girlfriend and took the liberty of doing so on her own accord because she was afraid her job was in jeopardy. I'm not holding her accountable for my girlfriend and I's argument.... in fact my girl was drinking, however, I would like a one night refund issued on behalf of Cindy Elyse since she had to leave due to the circumstance of the situation. Do to the Carlsbad's police involvement the night was a complete massacre in which they made fun of my attire, called me delusional because I fight for love, and totally ripped me apart. Now I will follow up in pressing them and their lack of compassion. As they tried to tell me, due to this incident.... I am never allowed in Carlsbad again for the rest of my life. So that one call, killed every possibility through their eyes. I hope you recognize this problem and reach out to Cindy Elyse because she is a beautiful woman who needs much more care then the world is able to give. If you can issue her a refund, I know she will be more then happy to book a hotel with you guys..... as long as she comes clean. Sometimes people don't recognize what real help is because of the pressures you place on your employees and the demand of our own survival. Thank you for your time. Have a beautiful day. Please look out for the little guys that overspend just to ensure a nights fun :)

Was appalled that we had to call each time to get an ironing board and iron. Have to call for dishes and such. No ice machines. Wrote corporate on 7/6/15 was told they would refund 1 night of our stay and send 2 vouchers to give their hotel another try. Haven't recieved either and General Manager who offered this has replied to me since.

I would like to say the hotel was clean and staff was friendly. My only issue was that during my stay there. Our toliet leaked a lot of water. I spoke to a lady up front about it and she said there was no maintenance people who could come out and fix it and no manager available since it was a holiday wknd. And of course no rooms available cause they were sold out. I honestly didnt want to switch rooms. I was just was hoping someone could fit it. I said that i would need towels and a bucket to clean the mess. The staff member was nice enough to provide those things and she wanted to see what was going on in the bathroom so they can address it later. I showed her and she saw the leaky mess she said that if i needed anything to let her know. She took the lid off the tank and it seemed someone tried to do a quick fix and put a washcloth over the float cause it seemed to constantly spray out water, which hitting the lid then leaking off the side. She then leaves the room and didnt offer to clean it up herself or have room service. So i picked it up with the towels she provided. The day at check out she is very sorry for the mess and says that she was to speak to her boss the next day and give me some kinda of insensitive for the inconvenience. I said ok. I still have yet to receive a phone call. And i shouldn't have to nag them for the trouble. I was actually cool with the situation, which then upsets me cause its people like myself that get forgotten and customer service is not there. I know if i were have to been rude and made a big deal of the situation it would have been delt with right away. But i was on vacation and did not want to deal with that. I just upset that i didnt get a returned phone from the manager for the inconvenience. I havent had much luck with this hotel chain. I had another experience in phx same company, and i ended up checking out cause the room was infested with ticks. Manager was nice and completely refunded my money. Be wearily with this company. I would rather pay more money at other extended stays and know they are clean and things working in proper order

this was a great place to stay while relocating. I was able to relax and look for a new home.

Good clean rooms. First room shower was broken. Staff can be more responsive but otherwise find.

The hotel was ok. They did not have shampoo or conditioner and told us to get it from the grocery store. Once they did not have towels when we needed them and they said we had to wait until the towels are out of the dryer. It was nice having kitchen.

The Extended Stay in Carlsbad Village is in a great location near Carlsbad Village. The rooms are clean, and the full kitchen is great. One drawback is freeway noise.

This was out first time staying at this hotel. We were skeptical, but since they are listed at pet-friendly, we were excited since we were taking our two small ones with us. The reception lady was pleasant and informative, the lobby was clean and attractive and it was quiet. Our room was quite spacious! i love the fact that wifi was included, a well as the kitchen amenities and large bed. A little lingering smell was notable but did not bother us enough. Grab & Go breakfast was a great plus! Will definitely stay in hotels managed by same company again!

Easy in and out, clean, but no shampoo/conditioner, clocks were not set correctly, and breakfast bar was slim. Easy to get to off of the freeway. Would not pay over $100 a night.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable.

I was booked into a smoking room. I complained and was moved into another smoking room that didn't smell as bad but still smelled of smoke. No batteries in the remote for the TV. Just a microwave oven in the room. No toaster oven or convection oven.

Only stay there for one night. rooms and hotel are clean but my only reason that dont give them five on everything is because is next to the freeway. Althoung I could not hear anything at night.
