It looked like it would be a nice breakfast, but my crew leaves at 6:30am. The breakfast starts at 7am we weren't able to enjoy it. It would be nice if it started at 6am.

I love this hotel. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are very clean. It's in s very nice area surrounding lots of places to dine and have fun.

Rooms are in process of all being refurbished, Mine was brand new. Jacuzzi has a powerful jet. Bed was comfortable.

The room was very clean an comfortable. Me and my family are homeless so this wa one of the first hotels we have stayed in and were able to sleep well. We will be back.

clean, convenient, nothing fancy, recommend for people just looking for somewhere to sleep and keep their stuff

Hotel lived up to it's 2 star rating, a little seedy with questionable people staying there. A lot of them lived there. Maid service was non exsistence. (they did not clean the room) When I called to ask when my room was going to be cleaned they said the maids had alreadly gone home!

THE LOCATION WAS THE ONLY THING GOOD ABOUT THE HOTEL. OUR ROOMS HAD A FUNNY SMELL TO IT, THE BED WAS THE MOST UNCONVERTABLE BED I'VE EVER SLEPT IN, THE BLANKET ON THE BED WAS SO OLD IT HAD HOLES IN IT, I WAS SO SCARED TO PUT MY HEAD ON THE PILLOW I PUT MY OWN TOWEL ON THE PILLOW FIRST. MY HUSBAND WRAPED HIS C-PAP MACHING IN THE OTHER TOWEL SO AS TO NOT ENHALE THE MUSTY SMELL.

[...] I had booked a smoking room on line. Was giving a smoking room and after unpacking found out I could not get the net. After about an hour of troubleshooting it turned out that room just had an issue for wireless. New room first floor NON-SMOKING. I will say that the guy on duty, [...], was very helpful and did the best he could with the situation. I'm also going to try America's Best on my next trip. Got to compare. Thanks

Got to hotel, duty desk guy was friendly, but that's not enough. There "best room" was awful. No hot water, color TV had little color, iron burned carpet, cigarette burns on counters...funny this was a "No Smoking Room". The ice bucket was green and had mold in it. Had to move. New room: TV sucked. Looked like it came from swap-meet. Set screen was not adjusted and top and bottom was missing. Bed frame was unfinished 2x4 wood with 1x4 slats. Box spring was stained, old and should have been trashed. Bed was so hard that my back hurt for hours after leaving hotel. I should get a complete refund from hotel for the trouble...will contact main office this week. Will not stay at this hotel again.

OK, first the good; (1) price was very good (2) it was close to the highways. The bad was; (1) the place is old and not so clean (2) the shower had really low pressure and was made for someone 4' tall (3) wifi was very intermittent (4) they tried to charge us when we showed up even though we prepaid[...]

Although staff weren't very cordial, they were generous with complimentary breakfast, room and pools were clean, and close enough to walk to restaurants. Also liked it's tucked away location even though off highway.

This was a good Hotel for the price. No complaints it was clean. OK area.

perfect

Very nice room for the value.

This is a conveniently located hotel, near to San Diego and all the attractions. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was decent. The room was pretty clean as well. On the negative side, the hotel was very noisy as most rooms overlook the pool. On our first night, we watched a pi mp waiting in the parking lot for his two prostitutes to meet him. (told us what the neighborhood was like) The beds are set up on 2x4 bed frames that do not hold the beds very squarely. We found them to move from side to side throughout the night.

This hotel was not what the online pics described. More like MOTEL! When I drove up I wasn't sure if I was at the right place.... My bedside table lamps did not work, I was taller than the showerhead (im only 5'5), when I asked the maid to come back at noon she told me no and she had other rooms to clean, and the bedframe is seriously a block of wood nailed together....

the hotel was pleasant, clean rooms and centrally located

We got a room that had a stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, and extra kitchen sink. This was all for a pretty decent price and a nice change from staying at places like motel 6. I would stay here again.

The hotel was okay. We were in town for the Thanksgiving holiday. The room was okay although it was old and in need of updating. The property had ongoing construction. The breakfast was the typical mainly cold continental breakfast- nothing to write home about. There were many workers staying at the hotel due to the recent wildfires. On 2-3 occasions we heard talking next to our door from groundskeepers and hotel guests. We would probably not recommend it just because it was old, although the service was fine and the location was good for visiting our relatives.

Not very convenient as far as getting off the 15. Its ok, basically clean but a little older feeling in general. Nothing special but also fine for a stopover on the way to somewhere else.
