I stayed room 246 which was dark, small and there was no 'Safe". So, we could not leave our valuables in the room. We also got free breakfast that was horrible. We stayed there 3 days only had brekfast first day. I wish i got free parking instead of free breakfast...

The only thing I did not like is that the hotel doesn't have ice machines in all the floors. I had to get up, get in the elevator, and find an ice machine. Other than that, everything was great!!!

We had a rough start because of our room situation. But Cecilia was able to help us resolve our issue with the room. The room was mediocre and didn't have a safe. We didn't watch much tv but It was not HD. the bathroom toiletries are lacking. I think it's a waste of plastic material to have such tiny bottles that are used within one shower. Our coffee maker was not thoroughly cleaned because old coffee grinds were still in the maker.

The staff was very kind and made sure we were comfortable. The hotel was in a great location close to everything we wanted to do.

Very friendly hotel staff. The room was clean and comfortable. This hotel is close enough to all the San Diego sights for a short drive to each of them. The bistro serves a buffet breakfast most mornings for $15 that's a good start to the day. Lots of on site parking even when busy. Nice pool and hot tub on the grounds. My only complaint is that the pool is a little cold!

Nice view not far from where i needed to go. Hotel was very clean, staff was excellent.

We had a great stay at the courtyard Marriott. Rooms were clean. Were able to use two pack n plays at the hotel. Pool and hot tub were nice. Location was very convenient to beach, zoo, sea world, and midway museum. Plenty of shopping and eating nearby. We had a great stay and would come back. Good value for the money spent here.

The Staff was worth the stay. The rooms were absolutely amazing and every area absolutely complementing. Each time I'm in San Diego this will be my choice of stay. Very impressed considering the surrounding hotels. #1 in everything to include the food, staff, common areas , rooms and overall service.

I was charged $19.00 per day to park the rental car. Terrible.

This hotel is just as nice as you would expect a Marriott hotel to be except that it is a Courtyard Marriott. Rooms are very clean, updated, and it is close to Seaworld and downtown San Diego (just a few miles drive). It is a great deal because you do not have to pay $200+ for a hotel that is located in downtown or next to the zoo/seaworld, but the quality is the same as a 4 star hotel. Highly recommend!

Room was great and bed was comfortable. Service was good. Be aware of the $19 parking fee even if ticket is validated. We were told there is always a parking fee in big cities on site but not in smaller cities.

Room was nicely decorated, we had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, nice sheets, blankets. The staff was helpful, friendly, smiling, and this trip was easy and fun.

great quick getaway for the weekend. Staff was great, hotel and room were clean and very affordable

It was our first time visiting San Diego and we loved everything about it. From the hotel to the surroundings and gaslamp. Thank you

Recently had a reservation for 3 nights, but dropped it done to one. Glad I did after I found the place just satisfactory. We checked in and there is no bell service. That is hard when you have at least 2 pieces of luggage per person. The pool is very small and crowded. The parking lot is small for the amount of rooms. Paid a premium rate and I got as much service as a motel.

the hotel was very clean, nice staff, I would definitely recommend this hotel

The room was large, clean and comfortable. However, the high charge for daily parking (unexpected!) and the lack of included continental (or otherwise) breakfast, make this property less than suitable for travelers lacking expense accounts. More value for the price can be had on other locations.

It was a decent hotel. it had a large lobby area but the front desk seemed relatively small. The service was good and the staff seemed friendly. The hotel room itself has two queen beds which were fairly good quality. The TV had a lot of channel options but the image quality was not very good. The bathroom was pretty nice overall. I would have preferred water cups made of glass. Plastic cups are for cheap hotels, in my mind.

Check in was simple. Employee was a bit grouchy. Any interactions with him was unpleasant. The room was clean. Simple things didn't work well. room phone. Toilet clogged easily. Shower had draining problems. Upon checkout when asked if stay was good we told them that the pool was cold. They responded that the pool was heated. Guess it wasn't warmed. Swam everyday and the pool was cold. Parking is way too expensive.

Very cinema staff, great location, good price. Typical Marriot quality.
