I will try to stay here every time I am in San Diego. I was concerned about the freeway. But I didn't hear anything. Love this place

Very clean and comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful stay and great location. However, tje review process is a little annoying. Please allow for shorter write-up.

I was at first worried as this hotel backs up to a freeway, but our room was not on the side facing the freeway and was surprisingly quite for the location. It was a short walk to Old Town for dinner or bars.

We had a good time, room and facility plus hotel staff were very courteous. Will stay their again on my next visit.

This place needs a lot of cosmetic work. The lobby has a market where guests can use a microwave and unfortunately someone had microwaved broccoli. It smelled so awful for hours! All the room door fronts have paint peeling off and all the walls need touch up. However, once inside the room it was very clean and nice.

Room was nice and clean. A little to close to the street but felt pretty safe. Staff was very helpful. I didn't like the fee for parking but all hotels are doing that now. I would stay here again. I liked that it was so close to old town San Diego.

Other than the $17 you have to pay for parking on the property or parking around the block on the street our stay was great.

Helped my daughter move in to the dorms. Great location.

Staff was helpfull during my stay. Plenty of street parking so that was a big plu since most hotels inn area charge 15+ for parking. The pool was small and location of it was right where a seminar went in and out so your just kindof watched through gate and patio. Close to old town easy to walk there.

Comfortable beds, first night great check-in staff, last night great staff, helped print boarding passes. Pool and whirlpool are very nice for it being an older hotel. No continental breakfast.

We had a great time with my friends, the hotel is in a great location just one block from old town. Staff was really nice.

Nice location, walking distance to old town restaurants and other places.

The location of this hotel in Old Town makes it very convenient to get around San Diego. Some of their rooms are adjacent to I-5, so they would probably be good to avoid. We were placed in the annex, which is a separate building over and VERY quiet. The room was comfortable and quiet, mattress was excellent, and bathroom/shower good -- all features that we have come to expect from Marriott properties. About the only thing I didn't like was having to pay $15 per day for parking in a hotel at this price point that was not "downtown."

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The room was tidy and spacious. Worth the money.

My wife and I spent the night there for a quick weekend turnaround in San Diego's Old Town. . We simply love this place. The hotel is quiet, clean, and the staff is very friendly. They offer paid parking but I opted to park on the along the street across the hotel which was safe. Once we arrived we parked and did not use our vehicle as it is walking distance to nearby shops, excellent dining and a five minute walk to the trolley station. This was our second time at the hotel and would highly recommend it.

The hotel was a bit dated in decor and a little damp smelling, but the service at the front desk and shuttle were great.

I stay in old town a couple times a year and ive never stayed here before. it was comfy. the staff was right there if I needed something. Rooms were excellent.. just a block or two from the center of old town. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and the staff is very accommodating!! Great place, highly recommended!

I chose this hotel because of its location which is fantastic! It's walking distance from everything. The downside is a very uncomfortable bed and small pool. Place was decently clean though.
