easy access to coastal experience (beach). shopping and restaurants within a short drive away. short drive to Hillcrest!

Everything was great. Staff was very helpful and friendly

Urban hotel costs were very high for a holiday weekend, so I was pleased to find somewhere with reasonable rates. The room was clean though plain. The hotel location seemed mostly industrial but it was close to major highways and attractions in northern San Diego. A variety of restaurants were within driving distance.

Breakfast was really good, more offerings than expected. Evening food options were nice to have. Location was good for getting to many attractions in San Diego.

Not to close to the beach and not to far, just right..

Located close to freeways to San Diego. Close to food stores. Very nice breakfast dining.

Don 't go by the exterior, interior including the room and hallways are dated including carpet that does feel old and dirty. Staff is good but they can't remodel the place. My wife was mad the whole time we were there.

Nice and clean hotel, close to everything nice staff ang great breakfast in the morning.

Room was clean, breakfast was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and lastly the location was convenient.

A little out of the way, but nice. Comfortable room. Only restaurant nearby open late, was Chili's, which was OK, but the hotel restaurant was NOT open on the weekend, when we needed it.

This hotel was very overpriced compared to what it offered. It was very run down and needed updating. We have stayed at many nearby hotels and had much better experiences for the same cost.

Extremely comfortable bed and pillows; great breakfast; convenient location

Our 4 day stay at the Country Inn & Suites was awesome! The staff was great and very helpful! The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was super great every morning. The business center was a plus and I was able to easily print out my homework assignments as needed. The laundry facility was clean and convenient. The hotel was very appealing and nicely decorated. The pool and hot tub were great! Overall it was a fantastic stay!

Helpful staff. Great breakfast. Comfortable room.

Hotel could use a renovation but overall it was a good clean hotel.

I stay at this hotel for work a few times out of the year and I will keep coming back

Rooms were clean! Just booked in the wrong location! I would stay at another Country Inn!!

Safe area- great staff, clean room, comfy bed, great breakfast.

The hotel is pretty old, appliances are wore off, the appliance personnel is poorly qualified and do not speak English. I had to cal a plumber 3 times during my week long stay in the hotel. The same problem with the faucet, they never REALLY fixed, only for 1-2 days. Location is excellent, thus, th price doesn't match quality, too high.

Hotel was really nice, everyone seem very nice and friendly. Near shopping and eatery was great! Love the breakfast, wonderful wonderful stay!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback from your recent stay with us; however, I am very disappointed to see that your stay could have been more enjoyable, most notably when it came to the overall condition and decor of the hotel and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and your family while at our property. With that being said, I am pleased to inform you that we are currently in the planning stages for a full renovation of our hotel, expected to begin later on this year and finished in 2018. Hopefully once completed, you will have the opportunity to stay with us again and have a great and relaxing experience here in San Diego!
