Blood on sheets! Rude manager. Both air conditioners were broken! Maintanance guy came looked at them said he would be back to fix and never showed up! Homeless people all around. Someone's car was broken into on the property! Only good part was I got refunded 1 day for my terrible experience! Pay a little extra and stay at a holiday inn express!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

Really not bad. But could definitely be better. I asked for toothpaste and they said they would bring some...they never did. There were no towels at the pool either night that we went. They said they would bring some but never did. Elevator was a little creepy. But other than those petty complaints, it was a pretty decent place to stay. I'd stay there again.

Stay was very good with clean room and friendly staff. However, only issue I had was the breakfast area. It was located in car parking area. Felt it was bit cold and was could have been more clean.

1. Rooms are too small 2. Beds are not comfortable and sizes are not accurate. 3. Rates are not accurate and deals aren't really deals. I booked what I thought it was a great deal for a hotel suite, instead I received a regular hotel room with no microwave and was charged more for that room per day than a suite. It was suppose to be queen beds but they were actually full size beds. The queen size beds in the regular room were so uncomfortable that I know they are probably older than 8 years. The cable tv is very limited on channels so there isn't much to watch while in the room. The breakfast served was not the best and the dining area was extremely hot with not ventilation because if the waffle irons. I will not be using a third party to book another hotel stay because it is to difficult to get help when there is a problem at the hotel. The back and forth is ridiculous simply because you didn't book through the hotel itself. On top of everything else when I received the bill it was way more than what it should have been and the hotel gave me several different rates throughout my stay, none id which I paid at the end! Will I recommend this hotel or orbitz? Not at all! Now I'm going to see how long it takes someone to call me to fix the problem before I contact corporate about the situation.

Excellent breakfast! We loved the location of the hotel.

We had great time. Breakfast room a little small for that many people but overall our stay was really good

Elevators out of service. The ones that worked shuddered as they went up and down. Breakfast was okay but crazy crowded and loud like a school lunch room.

This hotel is ridiculously close to almost everything in the San Diego area: Balboa Park and all its attractions (including the San Diego Zoo), Sea World, Old Town, the airport, and Ocean Beach with its superb dog beach. We were 5-10 minutes from everything we did with our Go San Diego! passes (not included with hotel stay). The staff was extremely pleasant, especially the housekeeping staff; our room was impeccably clean each day when we got back from our adventures, despite the messes made by 2 kids under 10 and an inordinate amount of beach sand carried in on beach wear and shoes. Our kids' stuffed animals were even in different cute poses every day! The pool was great, much larger than it appears in pictures, with plenty of shade and seating. Breakfast was awesome, but be aware that it gets BUSY, especially on the days that are used by families from the Marine Corps recruiting depot. I found it easier to get what I wanted to eat and take it back to my room. One downside for us was the guest laundry. We had planned on washing our clothes, since we had an extended stay. Unfortunately, only one set of washer/dryers was working, and that was spotty at best (coins kept jamming). Fortunately, one of our party was willing to take the afternoon/evening to babysit the laundry to get it all done.

Great location close to everthing and the were very kind.

Tiny elevator that's inspection had expired 6 months prior. Dirty floors and filthy baseboards in bathroom. Cable tv sucked, as most channels were not HD. Loud stomping above us until midnight. Walls seemed thin in general. Breakfast was delicious, but located at the end of the hallway on the 4th floor?? Marissa at the front desk was super helpful.

Insuff air conditioning and tv channels suck but staff was wonderful

I think the hotel is nice, I'm just putting nice because although our room was clean, there was a stain on the floor, the bed skirt was visibly torn in a few spots, there was a couple of small stains on the top sheet of bed and the grout in the tiles for the shower were gross. I did like that the sofa bed was in its own room with tv but the main room was very cramped with the sink and large mirror in front if the beds, awkward.

We received very little sleep because of traffic noise and terrible mattresses!

We stayed in a King Suite with 1 King Bed and a separate room (French door divided) with bunkbeds for our boys. The king bed was comfortable and clean. The boys had a great time in their "own room " with their own tv for before bedtime viewing. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast room can get packed pretty quickly, but they had a pretty good selection which is a nice benefit. Would stay here again.

First the positive: Great location to San Diego beaches, Sea World, Belmont Park and restaurants Extensive breakfast including: waffles, fruits, cereals, eggs/sausage, juice, muffins, bagels. You can choose both more healthy and less healthy options. Two room suite was a good option for family of six. Now the negative: Parking is limited, costs an additional $10/day, and many spaces are very narrow making parking an unnecessary adventure for any vehicle larger than a compact. In fact our minivan was damaged by another driver during our stay. Breakfast room is EXTREMELY and uncomfortably cramped. Always busy, no elbow room, difficult to find a table and sticky floors due to people bumping into one another spilling milk and juice. The physical design of the room creates a bottle neck which makes transporting your food to your table more or less an obstacle course to navigate. NOTE: If you're not a morning person, you'll likely NOT enjoy the breakfast experience. Elevators are slow and cramped. Some office staff are not very friendly, not rude, but just not friendly.

Had to unload 7 people, some babies. The parking area is very tight with a large van. Other than that, great breakfast. Good room

It's just okay. Nothing fancy at this property but you can't complain about the price.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Comfort Inn. The room was very spacious and clean. The location was great. I would recommend it highly.

Overall it was a good experience. The sheets are crispy and clean. The staff for the most part was friendly. There was an issue with the bath tub though. It wasn't draining and after the fourth shower from each individual the tub was at the half way point. I notified the staff about the next night and it didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. I had to instruct them to note it down because i wasn't going to come down again in the morning. The next day came around and still no service. Then we took down the do not disturb sign so room service can come clean and provide new towels, but no service. I had to go back down to the service desk to complain but then I only had one day left so it was unless. Good part it they didn't charge me for the parking. Plus the second time we used the hot tub it was warm and not hot. Breakfast was good though. I wished they could have had more hot food. The road to get out to the highway was complicated.
