wouldn't change nothing had great time hotel meet all my requirements

My home away from home. Everything I needed I had and the staff, super friendly. Being from Hawaii, pure Aloha!!!

Small room with no view, but the location is great, it was quiet, and the staff was friendly.

Perfect place to stay For me, near transportation, restaurants, great breakfast. staff is great. The room was nice, quiet. no view. I did not have a vehicle. I like to walk. Not perfect for everyone. Great price. If arriving by train or plane and using to trolley, which is fun, You can see all of the sights, visit friends and relatives.

Close to all bars and walking distance............!!!!!!!!!!! Nice

This place was radical. Right in the middle of all the fun things including the bums yay!

The reasons I booked this hotel was for the free airport shuttle, elevator, free breakfast, late check out, & ability to hold luggage. they never offered the rolling luggage carrier or any assistance when I had over 4 bags. I wanted to avoid taking an Uber or Lyft to the airport since luggage is difficult to put in the small cars they drive so i planned on using the shuttle. However, when I asked the front desk about the "24hour airport shuttle" that was mentioned on the Orbitz site, they said that it's only from the airport not to the airport. I was annoyed by the misinformation on the website. The hotel is small to medium size with one elevator which is fine. The hallways and my room smelled (see below). The ice machine on the 2nd floor didn't work. My phone in my room initially didn't work so I went back to the front desk immediately to let them know about the phone and smell in my room. At first they said (it was around 4pm) that the maintenance already left for the day so the phone couldn't be fixed but when the staff member came up to spray air freshener in my room, he was able to push in the phone cord more. Like all the review say, the beds are hard and the pillows are too soft. the water pressure and temperature of the shower was fine. yes, the room and bathroom are small and kind of dark but adequate. it was great to have a microwave and empty minifridge. the free breakfast was a nice idea except they ran out of meat right away and the eggs were gross.

Decent hotel and relatively cheap. The rooms are small though and little older. The bathroom did not have a sink which was very weird (it was outside in the bedroom along side the microwave). I liked the breakfast though.

Very nice, clean room for a good price. Room was a little small but for the value I had absolutely no complaints. Good free breakfast and a great location. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly staff................ Nice place ............. .............. ................

Needed a place to stay for a concert and a night out for a late valentines celebration. After getting back to room at 1:30am we were awoken by drunk youngsters who kept banging on our door and trying to get in. Room was clean but was a bit musty. Should have paid a bit more to stay somewhere nicer.

the location is great , the stuff is very helpful and professional, the breakfast is okay not much variety but its good the place to take breakfast is too small

Usually stay here when in San Diego for convention. Clean, inexpensive, close to gas light district and convention center (~ 7 blocks), free voucher to and from airport, good breakfast, paper. friendly and helpful. What's not to like!

my wife and i came down for a few days to attend baseball games at petco park. this is an excellant location with a short walk to the ballpark as well as horton plaza.we didnt rent a car so there are restarants close by. the neighborhood is safe but there are panhandlers and bums close by. the hotel served our purpose and included a free buffet with hot and cold items. the room was clean however a little small. the wifi did seem sporadic at times. the only real negative i would say was the room was right on street level so avoid anything facing the street .i would recommend and stay there again. the staff was friendly as well

The Comfort Inn is always great! This one is in an excellent location. The front desk was very helpful.

Went to San Diego to attend conference at Convention Center. Nearby hotels were much more expensive and with few exceptions not better locations. Confort Inn was easy walk (About 8 blocks) to Convention Center and only one or two blocka away from numerous restaraunts and night spots in Gaslight District. Eoom was small but very well organized. Overall very good experience.

Great location in GASLAMP. Room layout is a bit weird with sink in the main area.

My boyfriend and I visited San Diego and the surrounding area for 5 nights and enjoyed every second of our trip! The hotel was great, as was the staff. They were very helpful whenever we needed tourist advice or extra toiletries, etc. There was a continental breakfast each morning that was also better than we expected. Eggs, waffles, sausage, cereal, and more. The hotel is in a perfect area for people wanting to adventure around and see everything San Diego has to offer! Almost everything we did was within walking distance. Overall, everything was perfect. We couldn't have asked for more.

Decided to take a minivacay to beautiful San Diego. I love the location of this hotel, it is central to everything going on in the Gaslamp. It is a great rate especially since you get free wifi, a fridge, a microwave, and a complimentary bottle of water and some popcorn. This is my second stay here and I will definitely choose this hotel again and again.

There are no frills here, however, if you want to pay less its a good place to stay. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean & there is parking nearby.
