TOWELS AND SHEETS WERE CLEAN. ROOMS NEED SOUNDPROOFING

Booked on Orbitz. Clean room and nice lady at the front. Felt safe.

Staff is excellent...made sure I made my appointment in time by using great, personal wake up procedure, which I truly appreciate! Thank you, Staff.

Requested a two bedroom, bathroom shampo dispenser was removed with 3 bags lying around trying to figure out which one was shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. Room was in very bad shape. Soda dispenser sold out and it was the only one in hotel. Bed was making all kind of noises. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to nobody. The only reason I've stay is b/c i had being traveling for 48 hrs and I really needed to sleep.

We have stayed at the Chula Vista Inn a few times now because we have family in the area. This was our first time staying here now that it isn't a Best Western, and everything was basically the same. We got a king-size bed and a rollout sofa bed for the kids and everyone was comfortable. The breakfast has a decent selection (mostly sweets, though) and the pool/hot tub are nice additions. The TV has a significant number of channels. The hotel location is close to the freeway and a short drive from most amenities, including San Diego tourist attractions. We will continue staying here in the future.

The rooms air conditioner smelled like urine it had a towel holding it together so much noise from people in apartments next door and the rest smelled like throw up no blankets it was horrible

Overpriced. There is a charge for everything. For one night stay $165 you would expect extra towels to be brought to the room upon request. You have walk to the front office to pick them up yourself.

We came to San Diego area for a quick weekend getaway. The lights in our room, especially the bathroom, did not work after the first night. We reported it at the front desk on the way out for the day and was promised that the maid would look at it. Should be a maintenance person, but so long as it got fixed that was all we cared about. When we returned after our day at the USS Midway and Petco Park, the bathroom light still was not working. In addition to that, the toilet was not flushing correctly. My husband went down to the front desk to report it again. When my husband returned, the clerk came to the room with him to confirm the situation. He said he would let the manager know and apologized that there was no other room to move us to for the night. He told us that we could move to another room for our last night in the morning. So after breakfast the next morning, we went to the front desk with our bags and they did move us to another room. It was on the same floor at the end of the building near the street. We got back late that evening from another full day of activities only to find that someone in one of the rooms across the aisle was blasting their music so everyone could hear. An employee had followed us up to explore the LOUD "noise". She told us she would address it. We had a very early morning flight back home and whatever she did to address the noise did not work. We could hear that LOUD music well past 1am. Lucky we were able to make our flight

I had a wonderful stay . . . need a sign directing to the elevator . . . had to look around to find it . . .rooms were clean . . .outside surroundings were well kept nice and neat . . . clean . . . front desk gentlemen was very friendly and informative of the neighborhood and places to shop and eat . . .thank you.

We were in San Diego for a seminar and a little bit of tourism. At first I as disappointed that the hotel was a little bit far from Downtown SD (about 15 miles) and the location of the seminar, but we had good public transportation (bus/rail/trolley) on the first day and we ended up renting a car for the rest of the weekend, which made it much easier and convenient. The hotel is simple but fair for the price it charges. It is off of IH-5 that connects to downtown SD in about 15-20 min by car. The rooms have good size for US standards, firm king size bed, clean evironment, flat screen TV, hair dryer, a small dine table, hangers, dressers, basic toiletry (shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, body lotion) in wall dispensers; it offered a continental breakfast (pastries, waffles/syrup, bread, cinnamon rolls, cereals, yogurt, fruits, boiled eggs, juice, milk, coffee, tea, cream cheese, butter, jellies); HIGHLIGHT OF THE STAY: customer service. Sam from the front desk did all at his power to keep the guests happy. We had a little issue with one of the guests that was having a party on the second night that lasted till 4am but front desk personnel took care of it at our request. And this same family had kids running the following night on the halls till about 11pm. Overall it was a nice stay and I would recommend it at your own discretion regarding the location related to your main activities.

Wifi kept dropping out. Bathroom tiles on walls chipped with mold, bathroom sink had a leak

The attendant was rude. Room was ok but no amenities. Cost of stay to much for being best western. And being old. Hotel.

This was surprisingly not so nice for a BW, but the staff was friendly, and we had a room right next to the washer/dryer. Normally this would be a con, but since we were doing laundry, we could immediately hear when our load was finished. Location was not as optimal as advertised.

To much noise , nets flying in the room, dirty carpet,

Nice staff, and good location to downtown or to the Coronado beach abt 25mins

Poes la verdad todo exelente todo muy bien .con Todo gusto regresariamos..

Room was not bad... staff was very friendly and helpful. .. great breakfast! Would stay again!

Excellent Location to get Around Chula Vista, Clean , comfortable beds for good rest after long day.

Overall a good experience. Ice machine either always out of ice or broken, but staff supplied us from front desk without problem. Decent breakfast and staff always restocking. Weak coffee for me though! Clean and worth the price.

Average, nothing special. Difficult to get in/out of, but it is close to freeway and downtown. Room seemed clean at first but we found alot of popcorn under the bed; making us question the rest of the rooms cleanliness. Continental breakfast average and coffee was weak, like colored water.
