Bristol Hotel - A Greystone Hotel

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Great hotel, close to convention center and many restaurants.

The Bristol was an Ok stay. I'm doubting seriously that I received an updated room as the shower had serious cracks in the surround and the floor tiles. The lack of a bathroom fan made the mirror unuseable for10 minutes after a shower. At check-in even though there were 2 guests listed in the room only give on "Free" Welcome drink coupon, but it was of no use anyway as the bar was closed everytime we tried to go. Location of hotel works but little else, no bar/restaurant/pool... in comparison to other hotels that I have stayed at in San Diego area this was the least satisfying.

The gym in this hotel is a joke. Walk a block and go to the 24 hour fitness. Otherwise loved my stay.

Nice hotel. great location. It was undergoing renovations when we stayed there.

Close to gas lamp quarter. Food and fun nearby. Close to San Diego zoo and balboa park. Hotel was great. Bed could have been a little more comfortable. I wish they had an actual restaurant (not just a bar /lounge) and a shuttle to the airport. Staff were perfect. Hotel is beautiful, updated and in good repair. Close to airport too.

Location is great if you want to be near Gaslamp area. Rooms are large, but the room was in need of repairs. Bathroom wallpaper was peeling, water damage to the walls.

Walking distance to Gaslamp and Little Italy variety of bars and restaurants throughout the downtown area other than that anything else is a Lyft ride away...only downfall restaurant wasn't up and running so getting a dinner with a late check-in was not that easy but then it was my first time on the West Coast...overall perfect location great staff and very friendly people

This is a very nice hotel with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The room was lovely, although the layout was a little awkward. The placement of the tv made it uncomfortable to watch it from bed, but we were able to move it into a better position. They will bring you a mini fridge if you ask, which was great. The water pressure is excellent. The walls are a bit thin but that was no big deal. It was a great hotel and we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was superb. Great location to lots of downtown locations. We were able to walk to plenty of restaurants and clubs. And never spent more than $15 dollars on a ride to other locations in the city

This is good hotel with nice location near to food and shopping

Everything about the Bristol was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, telling me about the Free Ride program in downtown San Diego and giving me recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The room was clean, spacious, and comfy. The hotel itself is in a great location, close to Gaslamp Quarter and Horton Plaza. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in San Diego!

Attending a conference at the convention center, this was a little walk further than the big chain hotels. But a nice location and good proximity to the gas-lamp district.

Nice room, poorly functioning amenities, great location.

Clean hotel with a friendly and helpful staff! Walking distance to Petco Park, little Italy and the gas lamp district

Great location with an access to everything what you need to have a great time in SD. The hotel staff is great, always nice and helpful. They kept our baggage safe before our check-in and even after when we checked out as we still had time before our flight back home.

Great rooms, very comfy. Though they charge for water in the room (4 dollars for 16 oz bottle and 8 for a slightly larger size) and using the sink water for coffee is a no go, trust me on that one. "Fitness Room" is a sad lonely place where you're fitness goals go to die. You're better off waking around the city then spending a minute in that cubical of a room. Hotel Staff as friendly and helpful. Offered me points of interests upon hearing my purpose for my stay. Rooms was very neat and clean, bathroom was the same. Walls seem a little thin but nothing to bad. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Overall, great place to stay downtown for adults. No pool and terrible fitness room make it a basic need kind of hotel, excluding the need for water apparently, and cheap stay, again except for the water.

Staff was best part very polite and helpful. Hotel could use some updating and maintain its retro feel

Beautiful hotel in Gaslamp, short walk to the Marina and seaport village. Very friendly staff, comfortable bed and very clean. Would definitely recommend.

Great staff, very nice, helpful and friendly. Bed was great with nice sheets which is a HUGE plus with me. The hotel price was super reasonable. Ive stayed in nicer hotels, but for the money and the great staff and bed, it was a win for me.

Very nice hotel . Everything was great. Just minutes away from everywhere you would want to go . I would definitely stay here again .
