This hotel is very close to everything. The noise from the airport can be an issue. The plug outlets were loose in the room. The only access into the hotel pool/hottub is in a weird area in the front entrance by the street. But, on some positive notes, the employees were all friendly. The breakfast was a normal buffet style and was always stocked.
My room, while serviced during my stay, lacked enough electrical outlets for my tech devices. Breakfast has a wide array of options, but the coffee was extraordinarily weak. Front desk staff was very pleasant, any problems in the room were quicky addressed. A disappointment was shuttle service. This service is only available for guests catching a cruise ship.
Really kind of a gem down by the harbor. Again a $20 dollar breakfast which makes this place a real deal.
Hidden gem. Booked here because of the low price and proximity to venue. Happen to get a view of the yachts of the water. This was great we loved it.

Horrible hotel. Rooms with no heater. Cant sleep with temperature is 40s and room heaters no working. Recepicionist said hotel is old and and maintenance guy said cause san diego is hot...

When I checked, they gave me a room key to a door that didn’t work. Came back to get new card keys, and the keys still didn’t open the door. Kept trying, then someone opened the door and told me him and his wife have been staying there for days. Somebody was already staying in the room that they gave me.

Our room had a great view of the bay toward downtown. All of the staff was very courteous and the onsite breakfast was great.

We apologize for the disappointment with the current shuttle arrangement. We are trying to get our airport access permit renewed currently, but we do not have an estimate of when that service will return due to issues with the city.
