Good location. Enjoyed the free breakfast. Great views from window!

Stayed here before and after a cruise. Shuttle from airport and to an from cruise port. A few blocks to Little Italy and all their great restaurants. Walking distances to wharf and the Gaslight District. Comes with wonderful hot breakfast buffet and the restaurant connected to the hotel is very good. All the personnel were super friendly and accommodating. We had an early flight out and the shuttle doesn't start until 7 am, so we used Lyft and it came to less than $6 for that ride(he got a great tip since it was so cheap!)

Location great but hotel average at best. Rooms are small for a family of 4. Shower gets hot then cold then hot. Hotel decided to remodel elevator on holiday weekend, leaving one elevator which took forever. Stairs weren't accessible to go up to your room only could use them going down. Breakfast was good each morning, you can definitely find something you like to eat. Again not great but eatable. Overall I would not go back, I'd spend the little more to stay at a more comfortable place.

Breakfast very nice, great place to stay roomjs clean, nice pool area, personal nice, shuttle great

Very nice hotel. Good location for walking, and never needing to take your car out. Wonderful view of the water from the 11th floor. The bed was super comfortable for a good night's sleep. We would definitely stay there again

Great location! RX pharmacy very close to buy food/drinks/snacks. Easy walk to the bay/harbor area!

Good staff; clean rooms, parking is challenging in the garage (narrow spaces). Breakfast included, which was basic/decent; the staff at the cafe was very attentive and pleasant.

This was my least enjoyable trip I've taken but this hotel was the only bright spot. they provide. Shuttle from and to the airport. The staff is very friendly.

Very clean and comfortable, close to Little Italy and Walking distance from many attractions and fun places to eat and drink. All the employees were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

The Hotel was OK nice staff, good food at the restaurant, good room service.

Great location walking distance to Little Italy , Gas Lamp and the waterfront where many ship/boat tours are available. It pretty close to centrally located between many things to do while in San Diego. Also walking distance to city bus stops and train station. The staff is super friendly and was willing to help and assist with any questions we had . Our room was on the 4th floor over looking the pool , it was very clean and smelled fresh. I was very impressed with the upkeep and the modern décor. There was not any foul smells or questionable stains you find in many hotels. The breakfast buffet the hotels offers with your stay is great ,one of the best .Kudos to all the staff here at The Best Western Plus and to the wonderful staff at the hotel restaurant.

hotel was pretty much what i expected. was under going renovations which made pool not accessible and also had construction going on in lobby. staff though was very helpful and friendly and parking was great.

The hotel was undergoing a renovation but the workers were very polite and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hotel was a little far but not so far from the convention center but it was a good value

We stayed at the Best Western for two nights. The first night we had really loud neighbors who were drinking in the hallway and slamming their door constantly. At 3 a.m., we complained to the Front Desk Attendant who handled the situation promptly. Later that morning we talked to the Manager who was very understanding. She moved us to a room on a quieter floor. The issue, however, is that the doors slam. The Manager said that was a safety issue to assure that no one snuck into your room. Makes sense in theory, but in practice it causes sleepless nights. The hotel was in in a great location. The staff was awesome - all very accommodating. However, I'd suggest staying elsewhere for a restful night's sleep.

Stayed here for the Raiders/Chargers game weekend. Good location, good quality hotel. 14th floor, good views. 14 bucks is steep to park. Breakfast was solid.

Great staff, great location in downtown. Very convenient to little Italy.

Our room keys constantly had to be reset, which was incredibly frustrating. Other than that, excellent place.

My group stayed here for our annual St. Patrick's Day trip this past weekend. It worked perfectly. We had a pretty view of the bay, and our 2 rooms were connecting, making it feel like one big room with 2 bathrooms. We were able to walk to both Balboa Park and the Gaslamp Quarter (longer walks, but I like walking). The breakfast was better than I expected, including eggs and a meat everyday. Overall, I was happy with the hotel choice.

Very comfortable stay. Good free breakfast and other free amenities. Only reason for an overall 4 is that it is a slight walk from central areas, but roads are safe.

My family like it very good. We will be back in the future.
