Not many all-inclusive options; that is why we stayed here. We had a great time. Use this as a base to explore and adventure. Wifi in rooms would have been pleasant.

No internet in rooms amenities were non existent very outdated

I arrived at the property and made a reservation in a large suite only listing my name because I didn’t know who was staying with me. My Friends had a room booked as well but there was a Mixup with the reservations so they had to stay in another hotel for the night. I spoke to the ladies at the front desk who told me that my friends could use the property for the evening at no additional cost. each had to pay $30 to be on the property. The day passes were $19 per person and my suite had an occupancy of 4 people.

The best hotel that we have stayed in all of Costa Rica. Great place, great staff, great room and great value

Beautiful grounds. WiFi is only available in lobby, restaurant and pool area.

The photos on this hotel's website don't do any justice. It is far more amazing than it shows. The property is absolutely gorgeous! The cabins are nice, convenient, comfortable and clean! The outdoor facilities, the thermal pools, the view of Arenal just across the street, are all absolutely awesome! Loved, loved, loved it!!! Location is great! Close to town of La Fortuna, close to Are making and many more attractions.

Beautiful property, lovely cabins. Clean rooms, wonderful staff, variety of fun things to do and/or enjoy. The website pictures don't do enough justice to the real thing.

Great views from restaurant, rooms, and grounds.. Everyone gets their own bungalow, therefore very private. The rooms, restaurant, and pools with swim-up bar are very nice. Food is good, but breakfast could use more variety.

This hotel met and exceeded my expectations. The service was wonderful and exactly what we needed. I would recommend this place to everyone I know! We loved it!

The outside of the facility was very nice and well kept and the staff were all very helpful. But the rooms themselves were awful!!! Beds were brick hard, the extra blankets looked old and dingy, and mildew in bathrooms and tile on the floors. The amenities were all old and outdated. Several things weren't working in the room. And despite the advertising that WiFi is available, they neglect to tell you that it isn't in ANY of the rooms. Just in the common areas (I.e front desk, pool, and restaurant) and even then it goes in and out very frequently.

Private rooms like bungalows! There are a lot of bugs and they get into your room. I didn't prefer the bathroom, a little dated and rustic but overall a nice place to stay

This hotel has really great views and the rooms are very nice, however, the resort is a little outdated and the food was overpriced (dinner) and not that great. The breakfast buffet did not offer many options. Maybe 5 years ago this would have been a 5 star hotel, now I would give it about 3.5. The adventure place next door was very convenient and reasonably priced. It was great for me and a friend just passing through the town and wanting to see the volcano, but I do not recommend staying here for more than 1 night.

Beautiful grounds and a great location near the volcano! The attached tour company is incredible which makes the stay completely worth while. Zip lining on site!

We were overly impressed with the traveler reviews and booked. This place needs some work, it's tired. We were really impressed with the thermal pools online. The only problem, during our stay the pools were closed for an entire day to be cleaned. No advance warning, just closed today. When the pools reopened, one was warm, one was tepid, and one was cold. Not impressed. So, we decided to have a massage. Problem, it was six pm and although there were appointments available, the therapist were already done working for the day - "come back tomorrow". The sauna is a disaster! There is sharp splintered wood from the broken benches and broken floor boards. The spa is old, the cabinas, old. The breakfast was okay, standard fare. There is no reason to stay here when there are plenty of other resorts with updated facilities at competitive prices.

This is a very nice place to stay!! very good service!! Awesome breakfast !! fantastic tour! ... we loved it! Thanks!!

The location of this hotel is pretty good, right outside of town and in close proximity to the volcano. I am sure the volcano would have been breathtaking had the clouds and rain cleared up enough to see it, which i totally understand is beyond anyone's control. There were a few picky things that my wife and I noticed that could have taken this hotel up a notch and it was mostly the little details. The rooms were not quite as appealing as they are in the pictures, small things like paint over spray, or the hairdryer in the bathroom that had partially melted plastic on one end. With all the landscaping work that is done, and believe me the landscaping and the flowers everywhere are incredible as it is, things like exposed pipe in the small lakes on the property took away some of the magic. My advice here is to give some more attention to the small things and clean up the resort a bit more. Then I think anyone would find this place well worth the money spent. We stayed in one of the "lake" suites because we were on our honeymoon. My recommendation for that would be to put maybe a nice overhang (maybe retractable) over the porch so that while it is raining (all the time) you can sit out there and watch the rain with a glass of wine. One thing I did somewhat dislike about the view was the telephone and power lines in the way, but im sure that can not be helped. If those were gone, it would be a view worthy of a postcard for sure. My wife and I enjoyed the spa, we had a couples massage, chocolate mask and a glass of wine. Ask about any specials they might have because at first we were only shown the regular menu of Spa treatments, we were only told later about the specials. The restaurant was decent but far from the best food we had had on the trip. It was fairly expensive even for American standards. We had our dinner there once during our 2 night stay and had our breakfast included (so we ate there of course). All other meals were had in Fortuna, where we found a nice local place to grab some food. Well now im just rambling on. It was a fairly decent place which I am sure is probably maybe toward the upper middle range of places to stay in this area. I am thinking one of the Superior rooms, although with a slightly more restricted view, might have been the better deal. Pura Vida!

Considering the huge prperty the hotel covers, it is nomal that the prices are on th high-end. However, the services provided as well as the service receivd are just basic. You'd better off in considering something else. Be aware of the restaurant as the waiters always try to oversell the "special" of the night. Avoid the spa as it is badly managed and does no offer safe lockers. If you are interested in having a good view of the Arenal volcano, you can opt for something else.

This was our second trip to see the Volcan Arenal, and this time we got to see it! This hotel has a great view if you get an outside cabin near the road. Road noise wasn't an issue, the cabins were very spacious and staff very friendly. This restaurant was well stocked (although kinda pricey), and the location is close to the National Park. They offered numerous tours for horseback riding, hiking, canopy tours and basically anything you want to do in Costa Rica. We took the hike into the Park and got some great views of the top of the volcano. When we went 10 years ago all I could see was the base. You don't get close to the crater like at Volcan Irazu but it was cool anyway. We only stayed one night. The Spa was nice as well.
