The gentlemen at the front desk were...lets say language barrier and pretty rude. Spent 15 mins just trying to explain to them i had already paid for my room. The beds...well if you like sleeping on just box springd then this is your hotel. There was no iron so we were unable to iron clothing for the show. You had to stand in front of the tv to change channels and the tv volume wouldnt go above a whisper. All in all....next year, we will stay some where else. You do truly get what you pay for i guess :-/

If you want an iron you have to go to the front desk and ask for it! And when your done you must return it! Such an inconvenience!! Never will I stay again! I don't recommend this place! Rooms stink staff just stares and watches every move you make! Breakfast area is a joke!

The reception desk clerk was very helpful and attentive. I got what requested a king size bed downstairs. The room was nice and clean. They had towels and toiletries there. The bathroom was nice and clean too.

Awesome. The place is very convenient. But a little bit noisy because the motel is very close to the highway and local roads. Overall, it is a relatively cheap hotel in San Anotonio and good to stay.

Decided to go on a weekend trip with my boyfriend to San Antonio had a great time. The hotel is average , it serves it's purpose.

It stay at the Travelodge was great, the only complaint would be the carpet was a little.

There were only two other rooms rented during our stay. Hotel was absolutely deserted. No breakfast was served the first day and front desk door was locked with no one attending. When we asked for a coffee pot in our room manager/owner Patel accused us of stealing it "it should have been in your room or the maid would have reported it missing" he told us. He reluctantly got us one. The following day a few muffins were put out but no coffee was made. Muffins looked like they were left over from Patel's kitchen. All vending machines and ice machines were unplugged so no food for breakfast or anything else could be found. Most lights are off at night and hotel was deserted. When we asked to move manager/owner refused to accommodate us. We called this site as well as mother company who both told us that we needed to deal with Patel who was unreasonable. If my husband had not been present with me I would have felt unsafe in a deserted hotel.

I have stayed at worse hotels. The telephone didn't work, and the TV was on the blink. The towels weren't replaced when house keeping came by. The location was terrible. It was a nice distance from downtown if you had your own car, but for a taxi it's terrible. One cab driver didn't even know where it was, I had to use the GPS maps on my mobile to show him.

We came from Austin for a Spurs game and picked TraveLodge because it was about a mile from the stadium. We had no idea what to expect. We were very happy with the outcome! The room smelled fresh and clean, the fridge was already cold and the front desk person was fast and friendly. I had the best sleep I have EVER had in a hotel in their bed. I was very very happy with my choice. I will stay there again!

I spent a few nights here. Last time I was here in November I stayed for one day and it was just awesome. The room was spacious and very clean. No smell of smoking or anything. The manager on duty was courteous as well. Overall I would recommend this motel to anyone who is looking for a decent stay near the AT&T center for any event.

Close to the interstate and easy access to everywhere we needed to go. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Not a lot of extras, but a good deal for the price.

The room was clean but the only problems I had were. The shower or should I say the tub part because it drained so slow that I had to shut off the water so the water could drain so I wouldn't be standing in a tub full of water.this made taking a shower twice as long. The other problem was the fact that there wasn't a iron in the room. I had to go to the front desk and get a iron and was told to bring it right back because they didn't want it left in the room. I thought that was very odd.

This was a nice room when you are on a budget. We will definately consider staying here again.

This hotel was in the middle of nowhere near a bad neighborhood. All restuarants are on the West side of San Antnio. The hotel wasn't kept up very well. And the pool was broken.

The rooms are pretty big and cleaner. It was a non-smoking room with a pleasant smell inside it. We came after the tiring hot day in downtown in scorching heat of 101 F and turned the AC on after arrival. It didnot took much time to cool down. Pool facility are decent too. Overall a good place to be. Moreover it is very close to downtown Alamo and at a walkable distnace from AT&T center. The internet access is free and is having a good connectivity and speed. Our room also had a safe.

Room was perfect for what we needed it for...only to sleep. 5 minutes from downtown - very convenient!

Very bad part of town

the reviews were not that great, however, i found that the hotel was ok.. it wasnt great or first class, but it had everything we needed.. except that the toilet was dirty and dingy .. that was one definite mminus.

Uneventful, in fact, I will never stay at a Travel Lodge again. Since, I had prepaid for my room, the clerk/owner made it a point to not only make a copy of my driver's license but also a copy of my credit card, just in case there was damage to the room. I did not appreciate that. Apparently, he does this with all those people that make reservations at his motel. I am going to make it a point to notify my bank and also the Attorney General's Office. This is not good business? I am going to make my own reservations, and not go thru another agency.

I made the reservation through my [...] account prior to my travel...i think a mistake happen according to what i book online, showing on my side special request a non smoking room...got to the hotel the gentlemen would not change it, because i did not have have to print out of my reservation[...]the front desk gentleman keep and insisting about me paying some extra money for the upgrade, after 45miutes back and forth [...]i finally desided to pay $20.00 per nights to be upgraded on a non smoking room and went i look at th receipt they add taxes and i was not happy and they got mad because i toldthem they lied to [...] that they did not have any others room to accomodate me and they don't want to cancel my reservation because they lost customer...the hotel was not even booked...finally after an 1h30 they give me room on the front side close to highway and the windows cutain was not that great, the street light was coming through the curtain inside the room nd the noise from vehicle, trucks driving outside was hearing inside like those windows were opened, were down to san antonio for my anniversary, and i spent a horrible time...
