Overall seedy. Old. Rundown. low flowing drains. Television didn't work. Nothing nice about this place.

Sleep in your car, its safer and probably more comfortable

Horrible place,is in bad condition burn marks in sheets and blankets

Beds did not have bed covers, missing light bulbs, bed sheets had cigarettes burns, coffee pot very dirty, over all I would never recommend this hotel

Stayed for a week. Staff (Tish and Tiffany ) were very friendly and helpful. When I checked in, Tish made sure that my room had a microwave and refrigerator. Bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. I had no problems. The free breakfast was a little lame, but most are at any hotel. This place is at least 1.5 miles from the Riverwalk, so expect to drive or take a cab or Uber. Not luxury but more than adequate, as I was not looking for it, and was gone all day at a convention. Could use an update. I felt safe enough. Neighborhood is industrial, but restaurants are close by at the Pearl Brewery. Although close to an interstate overpass, traffic noise was tolerable even at rush hour. Good deal for the money.

Was very run down, paint peeling on the door, clock did not work. But it was cheap and I just needed a place to sleep and shower.

The hotel needs some major facility improvements. It is too noisy due to it being next to the freeway and from the rowdy people living at the hotel.

Solamente que estaba un frío de 28 F y la habitación no tenía calefacción y estaba congelada, no,disfrute de mi estancia.

To close to the highway. Way to much noise and people from other rooms talking & walking around at 4 am making it uncomfortable and insecure to sleep.

I stayes here for 4 days and the room was cleaned daily and bed was made. With fresh towels. I read reviews that it was a dirty place to stay and was nervous for the price but I have to say it was very good price and the location was around business area and 7 min drive downtown and the river walk was super close . Nothing stolen or nothing bad about it . It's an old place but kept maintained. Other reviews are a lie . Thanks

They had cockarach all over, I know it is a cheap hotel but I have never expirence something like this theu were so many. In the bath and next to the beds couldn't get a good sleep.

Not good we stayed only one night you should not have that many problems staying in a hotel

Friendly, helpful staff. Room conditions weren't at all what I expected from a Super 8. Furniture, bedding, and pretty much everything in the room was old and in need of updating. Price was good for a room near the San Antonio River Walk. If your looking for a place to sleep for a good price and not worried about luxuries this is perfect.

the rooms smell smoky (even though i requested a non smoking room). the knob on the shower was busted and kept coming off. the coffee pot was full of dirty water. the bedspread and towels were thin and the curtains are stained. The AC put off a funny smell. Overall, not a place you'd want to bring your family probably, not even very good for one person. Pool looked nice and clean staff was great, not their fault.

By the name I thought it would be closer to the riverwalk. Accomadations were ok area was a little rough. Pool was cloudy. For the price it was reasonable.

It was ok but the pool la not the great thing very small

House keeping stole clothes from our room and the one next to us. We complained and nothing was done. As of today still no call from the manager. After researching other reviews on trip advisory appears this is not the first time.

My son and I were in San Antonio for my daughter's graduation. We were greeted by 3 large crickets in our room. Also I killed 2 roaches. My son was afraid to sleep under the covers that were on the bed. The bathroom wasn't clean at all. I've stayed at a Super 8 hotel before in Kansas and my experience there was way better. Overall my trip was good however the hotel stay was a disaster. You get just what you pay for!!!

Well not what i was inspecting.hotel need to update the rooms everthing was old.

The first night in Texas I attempted to stay at the Super 8. I knew it was a 2 star hotel and my expectations were low, but this place didn't even deserve 2 stars. I had a meeting right after I arrived and had to drop my bags and run. I did not spend any time in the room until much later. When I did get to look around I was very disturbed. The door appeared to have been kicked in by the police on at least one occasion and not repaired properly. The bathroom was full of mildew and smelled dank and unclean. Still I was going to muscle through the 6 day stay until I sat in the chair to read and saw a used condom on the floor. At that point I had my wife help get me out of there. When I went to the front desk I was confronted by a night manager that informed me that it was my fault that I was dissatisfied with the room. He informed me that he was ex-military and that this was definitely me failing to inspect the room and have proper attention to detail that was the problem, not the hotel. He was combative, full of fowl language, and never once attempted to apologize. Well, I am currently military. I fully understand the importance for attention to detail. I am also a medical practitioner that treats our nations Marines and I have diagnosed everything from colds to cancer. Attention to detail is a big deal in my daily life. The problems I encountered would not have been solved by me looking around the room earlier in the day. I felt that I deserved a civil apology for the lack of cleanliness and help finding a new room. Not a verbal attack. I did leave for another hotel that night. It was also a 2 star, not the nicest place (which I fully expect with a 2 star), but much cleaner in appearance and smell.
