Highly recommend, staff very accommodating, clean room& cameras positioned for up most safety. Convenient to AT&T, downtown & safely located to missions. Older interior, but well maintained. Desk clerk is very friendly and trys to meet all of your concerns, & request. I trust him to the up most on all my stays.
Steve and ken were very helpful and courteous when we checked in and even let us get in a little early . room was clean and the location is very close to the a&t center. will def stay again . Even recommended a local grocery .
We have been in previous motel 6 (El Paso, Wichita Falls, Arizona, etc) and we have never had an experience like this. First room they put us smelled like Vegas Smooking Room (when I asked non-smoking area) and sheets seemed like somebody had stepped on them). They moved us to another room, and due to my tiredness of driving 10 hours I settled just because. However the door had no security bolt (although ironically it has a sticker that says put it fir safety). The microwave cable cut (I did not even need to use it but throws away image), the sheets not much different then the first ones! One pillow seemed to have a blood mark, and the main cover old and with spots I dont know what. I slept with the heater on and no sheets! Was afraid of using them already. Cables on the room without covering, old electric outputs, food on the stairs and hallways (I just did not dare to take pictures of the squashed potato fries in the stairs). To sleep, ooooh my goodness! Cars and cars and more cars!! You can hear the freeway all night and all morning. Say hello to the train that passes by at 8:30 am.
Arrived in late January for one night while on business. i wanted an inexpensive option near my meeting. Good points: Inexpensive, good sized room, clean bed and bathroom. Check in and out went well. Bad Points: I had asked for a quiet room but I got one at the front of the property near the freeway. Noisy all night! Heat and cooling - When i first got there, I turned the fan on. Later that night I needed the heater, but no matter what temp I set it on, it never got warm. No change from the fan! Bed - I like a firm bed, but this one was really firm, almost hard. I doubt many people could tolerate it. For me, it was "ok". Bathroom - I went to take a shower and there was really no "hot" water, just warn. The sink had legitimately hot water though. No soap or shampoo provided. Stopper in the tub and sink non operable / missing. Desk and power - I like to use my laptop while laying down, unfortunately there is no outlet on the bed side of the room. Not one. There was power at the desk though. Wifi - did not work for my laptop though it did for my phone. Not sure what is going on. No idea if the wifi is fast or slow, though. Other - I did not try the tv though it looked good. Hope this helps someone.
Kay &ken when we're awesome they're very helpful the staff was nice the rooms were clean and great if you ever stay in San Antonio I recommend this place I had an excellent day everybody was nice that work here. And the price was very low for the room I would stay here again
Very nice staff.. coffee and the gentleman at the front desk is both wounderful.. Also in bus route so it's super convenient.. Even the overnight lady was super Friendly and you rarely get nice overnight window workers..
Nice people that run it. Affordable and right off Interstate 35. Pool was nice touch to get out of the killer heat and a waterpark is located a just a short walk away from the hotel. I will stay again for sure.
This was a nice simple stay, rooms were clean, bed felt new and comfortable. The front desk lady was very sweet and welcoming, made the check in process effortless. Will definitely come back here when I come back for work
Just a few things , the manager is friendly as can be , but I guess he has to be considering the rest of the service is awful , and the rooms aren't much better , final note , don't just don't , spend your money somewhere else !!!!
This place tripled their normal rate for the Final Four. I totally understand supply and demand, but the owners of this dump should be embarrassed. The floors were disgusting. Mold and filth covered all surfaces. The door latch (right above a warning to keep the door latched at all times for your safety) was broken off the door. We had to go ask for toilet paper upon realizing we had about 10 squares on the roll. The previous occupant’s trash was still on the bathroom counter. Upon check out I was asked about my stay. I was honest and said I felt the price far exceeded the value and detailed a few of my problems. No effort was made to rectify the problems.
