We stayed here for my son's graduation from BMT. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our TV wasn't working the first night and they sent maintenance right up to fix it. We had no other issues the rest of the time were were there. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and we were just minutes from the Air Force base, which was wonderful considering how stressful it is to drive around San Antonio! We were able to enjoy both of the pools a couple of times while we were there. They were both clean and refreshing.

This hotel was great for the location of where we needed to be every day. Staff was super friendly. The shower drain plug didn't work well and the hotel itself could use some updating. However for the price I didn't expect it to be a 5 star.

If you need to go to Lackland Airforce Base you could not pick a better hotel. You can see the base from some rooms and it takes less than a minute to get to the gate. Our room was clean and comfortable.

It is OK for the price. There were roaches in the room.

Based on prior reviews from families of A.F. Graduates, I decided to book a room just for this sole purpose for my 4 night stay. Disclaimer: Check-in time is 3pm. This was something I overlooked, so it was a surprise when I arrived at 1-ish. However, the front desk attendant was very accommodating and asked her cleaning staff to get a room ready for me. This only took 15 minutes, while I waited in the car. My room was indeed crisp and clean! Right next to the pool, though never had the opportunity to utilize it. Linens were freshly laundered (I did the sniff test beforehand) and the bathroom was squeaky-clean. The fridge definitely came in handy for storing snacks and leftovers, while the microwave provided convenience for reheating leftovers. Some reviewers forewarned about pests, which I discovered were 3 small, black beetle-like insects, that died instantly with a few droplets of water. No biggie!! Those 3 were over the duration of my stay. However, my WORST fear came about on my 3rd night: A ROACH!!! EEECHHH!!! And an adult one at that!! My fourth day another adult roach! I was already prepared for them, so I was not surprised. It's a motel and in the south and people from all over come to stay, so what do you expect?? Overall, the location was perfect! Right down the highway from the base. I literally mean a 2 minute drive!! Please note: those gates close in the early evening, so you'll have to drive all the way around to the main gate after a certain time.

The room was ok. The toilet was old and looked dirty. There were long hairs on the bed sheets. We had to call and have someone come change the sheets and clean the toilet. The toilet was scrubbed and it still looked dirty. The front desk and the person (Fernando - I think) were very nice about the situation. Overall, good experience. Liked that it was right next to Lackland AFB where we were the entire weekend for my son's graduation.

the staff was very friendly and helpful. the staff is the reason i would stay there again

Great location, clean rooms, friendly accommodating staff. Could use face lift

The facility itself left some desirable wishing for. The outdoor pool had a bit of a green tint to it, and also had a problem with algae, which was actually vacuumed the day that we arrived, but it didn't take long for it to return. Also, our room was on the second floor, and by the second day, realized that our floor boards leaked water every single day. At first we thought we had dripped water on them from the shower, but then you could actually here the squooshing underneath the slats of the laminate. We had to constantly wear footwear so that our socks would not soak through. During our stay, I had to do some laundry for my son (who just graduated from BMT). The cost of the washer was $1.50, which wasn't bad, plus they sell Tide and Downy at the front desk for $1.00 a piece (which you may want to buy two of, as one doesn't really do the job). The dryers also were $1.50 for 30 minutes of dry time...but you'd better bring a lot of quarters because they don't really dry very well in that time. The front desk can change out cash to coins if needed. Aside from all of that, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the continental breakfast is very decent. It has an assortment of things to eat from cereal, waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, muffins, bread and bagels that you can toast, jellies, cream cheese, butter, oatmeal, juices, tea and coffee. The place suited us for the time that we were there, as it took us to the base within a minute or two.

If you are only concerned with location to the Lackland AFB, then you may want to stay here!! Otherwise, you may want to find somewhere else! This hotel was dirty with large roaches crawling up the walls as we made our way up to our second story room with no elevator! The hotel ground and pool were trashy! Our room was okay but the toilet was nasty with lot of black stains and the flush handle dangling from the tank! Room service took our towels and didn't even leave clean ones! We were told to go to the front desk to get clean ones only to be told they only had one left!! I will not stay here again!!

We had a very enjoyable time. The staff was extremely accommodating, attentive and welcoming. Loved the 2 pools.

Very convenience, close to Highway 90 and 410 excellent. Two minutes from AFB .That was the purpose. Very fresh breadfest every morning.

Carpet had stains, toilet loose, sink was clogged. Repaired quickly after reporting to staff.

The beds were uncomfortable and housekeeping was really slow. They were definitely not as fast or neat as other hotels but it was about 6 miles from SeaWorld.

Rooms not cleaned on second day .Staff said they had no body to clean the rooms .Dirty hotel..stay away ..overpriced

The room smelled of cigarette smoke. They said it was a non smoking room. The bathroom door would not close properly. There is no exhaust vent in the bathroom. It smelled like mold and the paint was bubbling on the ceiling. The soap scum was disgusting. I never truly felt clean. This trip was my worst hotel experience ever. It makes me appreciate my RV even more.

The location in regards to the AFB is great. The hotel is definitely worn down. For the location and the money, it was fine, but I wouldn't plan a stay of more than a night or two.

Although the room was not very large, everything was clean and comfortable.the staff is polite and helpful and breakfast had a lot of variety.

The location couldn't be better. One of the pools was working, the other wasn't. The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. I was able to get a good working crib on request. Towels were switched out each day even when left hanging. Clean sheets each day. Walls are thin. It felt like a safe, clean, decently comfortable place to stay. I would say I got my money's worth.
