The good first: lovely gardening, nice pools, friendly restaurant staff, food priced fairly, cozy beds, lots of pillows. Free HBO! The less pleasant: loud hallways (hear many doors slamming well into the night), website lists lots and lots and lots of extra fees (such as wifi and even a big fee just for the fridge) but the room didn't have a fridge and the wifi was free (I might have brought a computer if the listing hadn't said it would cost an extra 10 a day; sure, I have 10, but why saying you'll charge when the room is already $97). Nit-picky: remote was so old you had to fidget 5 minutes to get it to power on. Not so nit-picky: found a cockroach in my suitcase, and no, it didn't come from home. Also, I needed a screwdriver and had to go out and buy one; something among my personal devices required it. So I asked and the clerk looked for a total of 10 seconds and couldn't be bothered after that. No, they weren't busy. So a huge hotel has no screwdriver? Some folks will go out of their way to help you. Some folks won't.

Awesome and friendly environment .. would recommend this hotel

It was very relaxing. The hotel was very clean and comfortable

Nice room, nice pool, very close to seaworld, food was very overpriced for the quality, desk was good but servers were bad.

Was very satisfied with there service very clean and quiet and not to mention staff very polite and helpfull

The carpet in the room was very dirty, the pillow was dirty with blood, the furniture full with dust . the water in the Kidd pool was dirty . I don't recommend to go with children In this hotel

Pictures online make room seem way way bigger. Be cautious of booking. Area nice around. NO light in the kiddie pool which dangerous to me. Room extremely tiny. Only 2 towels n room. We forgot or shampoo n etc room at non. The best part 2 nites air con super hot !

Too many things went wrong to list in this little box And General Manager is incompetent.

nice, and well located. rooms are big enough. Internet a little slow. didn´t had chance to goto the pool but looks like everyone was having fun there.

I had called the hotel around 1pm the day of our arrival to verify that we would be there, but wouldn't be checking in until ~6pm. I also verified that we had 2 queen beds (which is what I reserved). The staff member who I spoke to did verify this. We arrived at the hotel ~ 6pm only to find out that the hotel was "sold-out" and that there was only a room with a king bed left. When I questioned this, the staff member at the front desk said that the manager must have given your room away and this was all they had to offer me. They proceeded to give us breakfast vouchers for the next 2 mornings to try to make it up to us. They were also going to send a roll-away bed to our room. At this point, I didn't think I had any other choice. We went to the room. The room was tiny with 1 king bed. It felt hot in the room, so I tried to turn the air conditioner on. We didn't hear anything kick on and the room was getting no cooler. Before we proceeded to unpack more of our things, my husband called the front desk and requested that someone come and check the air conditioning unit. They very promptly send maintenance to our room and after a few minutes, the gentleman told me that the air conditioning unit was broken. He was going to see if they could move us to another room. (Although I had been told earlier, that there was no other rooms available) Shortly, he came back with a portable unit that he was supposed to put in the window. The unit would take up more room in the room (which was already small) and we were in a first floor room, therefore I didn't really feel safe having this thing in the window. With the roll-away bed alone, you could hardly move around. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager was very nice and apologized. After awhile, she offered to comp our room for the 1st night. But this still was not solving the problem. I had paid for a room with 2 queen beds and now we were stuck with a room with a king bed, a roll-away bed and a portable air conditioning unit. I then asked to be transferred to a different hotel. After another 30 min, she came and told us that they would transfer us to the Hyatt Hill Country Hotel and Spa. We arrived at the new hotel around 9 pm. The Hyatt was wonderful!! But I will never even attempt to make a reservation at the Hilton again. We wasted 3 hours of our first night with a lot of hassle!

I think it is good location for sea world. The shuttle bus from hotel to sea world is available. Staff was friendly, I requested king bed room if available, so she changed to that one.

Could not charge my cellphone or laptop (elec plugs not operational in entire room) so could do very little work. When checking out manager was very meek should not be in a manger position.

We like the shuttle to seaworld, it cost $10 per room per stay

I spent 4 days at the hotel and I have to say the staff was great. Get a balcony view and it would be just about perfect.

We stay here when we go to Seaworld. It's a nice value hotel. Beds are comfortable. Pool is really nice for kids and adults.

I called the hotel at 4pm to make sure that they knew that we would be arriving around 10-11pm at night, and to ensure that they would not give our suite away. They said this will not be a problem, and if we thought we were going to arrive any later than midnight, to call them back. We arrived at 10:30 pm, and upon check-in, the lady at the front desk called Housekeeping to make sure the room was clean. Housekeeping lady responded “oh, I think so.” The lady at the Front Desk then responded with “Well it says clean in the computer, can you please double-check?” Mind you, we’ve been driving since 3:45pm and we wanted to go to sleep. Ten minutes later, she said ok now the room is clean. How can they clean a room in 10 minutes? Well, they couldn’t – the bathroom was still dirty! But we were tired, and so we just went to bed. We got up the next morning, and immediately left for a fun day at Sea World. When we returned around 4:30pm, I put my daughter in the shower (the tub was the dirty part of the bathroom) and discovered that the drain was clogged. So my husband called the Front Desk and asked them to send someone up in about 30 minutes my daughter and then I were bathing. Less than 5 minutes later there was a knock at the door and it was the repairman. My husband said that we weren’t expecting anyone to come until later because we were still bathing, and politely asked that he come back in a little while so that we could finish up. He said he didn’t know what time he could come back, or even if he could come back that day at all. So I had to get out of the shower with shampoo still in my hair so he could fix it. While it was nice to get such immediate service, given the fact that we were inconvenienced in the first place, it was like the hotel staff’s convenience mattered more than that guest’s convenience. A little later after we all cleaned up, we went down to the hotel’s restaurant to have dinner, only to discover an empty dining room. The new chef comes out of the kitchen and notices us there and asked if he could help us. We explained that we wanted to be seated for dinner, at which point he explains that the hotel is under renovations and that the restaurant was closed. (No mention of this at all at the front desk when we checked in!) He then went on and on about how he is revamping the menu and how great it will be, and it will open **next week**. Well, what do I care about next week when I am there now?! He then said that they were serving the full menu at the bar. Right..as if I want to bring my toddler to have dinner at a bar. We ended up at the Chili's less than a mile away. To top it all off, the morning we were supposed to check out of the hotel, we get the final bill and a survey asking us to rate how they did. The survey was addressed to the woman in the room next door! And when I compared my hotel bill against what I paid via this site, the numbers didn’t add up. So I went to the front desk, and they told me that their version of the bill was right, and that it was not their fault, but this site’s fault. Meanwhile at the Front Desk, they didn’t even bother to go through the math on the bill as they just dismissed it as a problem with this site. This has not yet been resolved as I now need to contact the hotel again to get my refund because this site proved to me that it was the hotel’s fault. After this exchange, I informed them that I got the wrong survey information – after all, isn’t that a privacy issue? – and they didn’t even seem concerned about it. I filled out the survey with a shorter version of everything from this review, and haven’t heard anything back from them. No one cares about the guests there, and I think everyone that works there is under some kind of training program. There is no way that a professional team is running that hotel. Stay away! There are plenty of nice hotels in the area that are just as close to Sea World as this horrible place.

My family and I had a great two days. We enjoyed the smores at night along with a movie. My boys enjoyed the pool most. We will definitely be back

Although it was only for one night. It was an expensive stay. It was a nice hotel but definitely not worth money not being a highly rated hotel. Thought bathroom was okay but not what was expected. Surrounded by private residence so nothing spectacular. If visiting sea world or fiesta texas, an added expense not worth the value for a place to stay.

Good overall a little problem connecting to the wifi

Awesome Place very family oriented. My kids enjoyed the pools. Very nice walk in the morning by the garden area. The breakfast buffet is $14.95 but did not have very much to choose from I felt like I was having breakfast at a Drury Inn. Also the hostess was disrespectful and would not answer my questions or direct me. Other than that it is an Awesome place to stay in.
