Great, helpful staff. Breakfast was hot and good selection.

Very nice staff and very accommodating. Easy to get to and from the base.

Front desk (think his name was Kevin - bearded gentleman) has excellent guest services skills.

Stayed at the Country Inn Lackland for BMT graduation. Very friendly staff, very clean updated hotel. Easy access to Lackland AFB. Room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing that was somewhat inconvenient was no counter in the bathroom, made it difficult to get ready in the mornings. Breakfast was excellent.

We went to San Antonio to watch our son graduate from Air Force Basic Training. The hotel is close to Lackland AFB and easy to get there. When we arrived we were able to change our reservation and add one more night to one of the rooms because the number of people who came with us had changed at the last moment. The breakfast was ready every morning at 6 on the weekdays as advertised. My children also enjoyed the pool in the evenings.

Everything is great. A definite deal if you are going to see an air force graduation.

We enjoyed our stay. Out room was cleaned daily and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good could have had more choices, but it served the purpose.

From the first day I called inquiring about location from Lackland AFB Sam was amazing! Very informative, took the time to explain about the shuttle offered, places near there, etc. We were there for the Grand Re-Opening party and it was very nice. Servers walking around with appetizers, dessert buffet, free bar/beverages, goodie bags, and a raffle. My husband and I both one gift certificates. Entire staff was very attentive and friendly. I love the signature board for military graduate wishes that they then display in the hotel. Very personal touch! Breakfast was very good and had different main course each of the 4 days we were there. Always coffee and fresh baked cookies in the lobby also. Beds/pillows were very comfortable and rooms were very clean.

We were here for our grandsons air force graduations. We visited the base, river walk, Alamo, and sea world. The hotel was close to everything which made it convenient plus we like staying at Country inn and suites

We needed a hotel near Lackland AFB for my nephew's graduation. This hotel suited our needs. FYI....there was no elevator and I was unaware of that when I booked it. I have a disability and climbing the stairs was difficult. The front desk person was very helpful and promised me a first floor room as soon as it became available and she delivered on her promise. The hotel is undergoing renovations so it was a little messy looking. The breakfasts were tasty and free. The hotel isn't near any restaurants or bars so you'll need a car. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. It perfectly suited our needs.

First it was difficult to find the hotel, because we were on the road by the hotel but the sign was hidden by trees and the roads were so crazy and having to watch traffic, the road and looking for the hotel was crazy. Our GPS would take us one way that would be longer and on the way back it would bring us back a shorter and easier way. The two problems we had with the room/hotel was that they had just painted and it smelled of paint and I GOT LOCK IN THE BATHROOM without having to lock the bathroom door. The bed was comfortable, but those pillows were horrible (to soft and uncomfortable). Plus there's no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage get ready to lug your luggage up a flight of stairs. Yes, it's only a two story hotel, but the stairs are steep. The area is quiet, but the roads are confusing even with GPS. However, Sam the manager on duty when we arrived and left was great, so KUDOS to Sam, very helpful. The breakfast buffet was okay. Nothing special.

I booked this hotel after staying one night in a horrible motel and was very happy with the accommodations. The room was clean and the staff were great. It was currently undergoing renovations but the workers were polite and worked fast to get the hallways painted so they wouldn't be in our way. The price was reasonable and the hotel was comfortable. The location didn't seem to be in the Best of areas but we had no problems with the locals and access to everything was easy. I would definitely stay again next time I get into the area.

When the AC is running the entire place gets moist and the bathroom floor is slippery. That is kind of odd! The location is ok as not a lot around it. A little bit away from SeaWorld. You pay for what you get, an average value.

Broken refridgerator and microwave in room reported to front desk. never got fixed. Called twice to report problem.

Desk staff was excellent! Friendly, offered help and answers to every question about the local area and directions. Room was very clean, beds comfortable, extra pillows were a nice touch. No screen on the window so fresh air without bugs was impossible. Kitchen/dining room and staff were not good, but better than the food! Understaffed, appeared that we were an inconvenience to them. The food was warm and seasoned but not much good beyond that. Location was convenient for access to Lackland AFB but park in the front of the hotel near a camera at night; the surroundings are not very comforting or secure. Lots of barbed wire, barred windows, abandoned and tagged buildings. Makes the hotel easier to find though!

It was not good, we never saw any big hotels like holiday in that don't provide breakfasts at all.. To compete with economy condition hotels should have done more than just provide breakfast. The receptionist did not know local informations from SEaworld to the hotel where she works, this is not exceptable! Room services don't exchange towels unless you ask got them. Overall experience at this hotel is not recommend to anyone. They have lots of room to improve if they want to keep their business.

The room itself was great. The hotel had a homeless cats problem. The side door leading into the hotel didn't lock (a little disconcerting.) We chose this hotel as it stated "Sea World Area" but was a 15 minute drive to the actual park. Hotel staff could you some customer service training as they never once referred to me by my sir name. (e.g of what I was expecting: Good Evening Mr. Heath, This is John Doe, with guest services, how may I be of assistance). The front desk agent just answered "Guest Service" with no enthusiasm in his voice. I had asked for one soft pillow and one firm pillow he said he would check with the housekeeping department to see if they had any extra. I had to call back down to the front desk 15 minutes later to find out the status on the pillow search and he said his housekeeping never responded. I have worked in hotels before and I would call the guest back within 5 minutes to check to make sure they had gotten their request and if not that I would look into it and then call back 5 minutes later to double check again. The hotel could use some signage on along the road because if you are unfamiliar with the location of the hotel, you may end up driving right by it as we almost did this once or twice. With this all said we were very comfortable in the room given that we were only there for two nights and our main visit was for Sea World.

Not in the greatest part of town, but of you are going for an airforce graduation it is nice because it is really close to the base. The room did not seem very clean, and the shower drain was clogged.. gross! Not the worst place I have slept, but definitely not the best. Also, breakfast will cost you some money..

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the location was great. We were 5 minutes from Lackland AirForce Base which worked out perfect to go to see our Airmen's graduation. We were also close to downtown San Antonio and all the attractions, the Riverwalk, Tower of Americas, Sea World, etc. another plus is the hotel was only about 20 minutes from San Antonio Airport. If your coming to San Antonio for an Airmen graduation or just to sightsee this is a great economical place to stay. About the only negative thing I could say is the lack of a Bible provided in the room, which to me is important.

The staff was AMAZING. Other reviewers commented on this, but I didn't realize what a difference a staff can make. Everyone went out of their way to be genuinely friendly and helpful. From the restaurant to housekeeping to the front desk to the lounge, the staff was wonderful. The accommodations are literally a couple minutes from Lackland AFB. Our room was an avererage Holiday Inn (clean and comfy), but the staff made our stay outstanding. We would definitely stay here again if we needed to be near the base.
