Alamo - Riverwalk Days Inn

I stayed in room 103, well if I took a shower the whole bathroom would fill up with water because it didn't drain properly. The tv only showed half picture, when I called the front desk to see if they can fix it the lady said there's nothing they could do about it. Pretty bad experience

I'll start with the pros. The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the Alamo and the River Walk, plus stores and restaurants. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was mostly comfortable. I really enjoyed the pool, it was still cool and refreshing in the intense Texas heat. The cons. We were in a separate building across the street from the main building so we had to cross 2 streets to visit the front desk, go to breakfast, or use the pool. The breakfast was pathetic and we felt that we had to go out to eat afterwards because there was nothing there of any substance to eat. Paying for parking sucks but I guess that's how every hotel is in San Antonio.

Hotel was clean and updated, it was also within 2 blocks of the River walk. Hotel made a mistake in the amount charged but quickly took care of the problem and refunded the overage. This hotel charged $15 for use of their parking lot.

Good location: 5min from conv center; Helpful staff - kind; Had to walk across the street for ice; In all not as bad I thought it would be. MUCH less expensive than nearby hotels.

Ok. We arrived late night and had nice check in. Around the hotel, we noticed few escorts and drug lords. Once in the rooms, we smelled cigar and mariguana a lot. Rooms were dirty and smelled bad. Terrible we had to go back and ask for a refund. Since we booked through here. We were given the choice of have nicer rooms. The staff lady was amazing. Then she directed us to the upper floor rooms that were recently remodeled. They were 2 star rooms and we're ok to sleep and take a shower. If you do not get the nicer rooms the hotel is terrible otherwise is a 2 star hotel. Breakfast is basic cereal and bread juice.

Terrible, terrible and bad experience. I do not recommend it at all.

great location. Rooms is decent but half the outlets don't work. The room may have been recently remodeled by someone with Home depot level skills - one outlet box came out of the wall when unplugging a cord! The shower shoots water out onto the floor and on the wall due to poor head placement and selection' There is no soap shelf or anyplace in the shower to put anything. The toilet alcove is so small you can literally set your elbow on the TP dispenser. It's clean and it's close to the riverwalk.

This was a horrible experience for me and my guest. The room that we were placed in had beds bugs and when they finally decided to move us they moved us into another room with bed bugs. It was disgusting and I would have left on the first day if I could have found another place to stay. The beds we broken and the shower curtains were not attached to the wall. the rugs were dirty and unvacuumed. Overall it looked like the place had been let go. It is also next to an active construction site and highway so that makes sleeping hard.

We were charged 30 dollars per person staying, and 15 dollars a day for parking, they assigned us the wrong room and we walked in on a family sleeping, we had to sit for 3 hours to get a new room, we found bed bug remnants, it ended up costing more than any surrounding hotels in the end that would have been nicer. The manager woman in the lobby was absolutely rude and had the maids taking pictures of our room. We walked in on the manager looking through our stuff to try and see if more than 4 people were staying. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

This is a good deal price wise, as it is very close to downtown activities. However, it looks like it was in the middle of an upgrade in 1995 and they never finished.

Room was clean and comfortable, quiet, spacious, You need to change this so I don't have to keep writing to submit my experience at your hotel, I am not a man of a lot of words and who would read a bunch of blather anyway, short and sweet is what is needed not an essay of my trip to San Antonio Texas

Got a room across the street from front desk, with a condemned building in between where shady characters were hanging out. Non working lock had me going back and forth; unsafe feeling. Bathroom fixtures belonged in the 1970's, with no hot water at sink. Beds lumpy, no outlets except at sink, soliciting nonstop from flyers slipped under door.

This hotel was not as nice as most other Days Inns. The toilet was loud and the shower was slow to drain. The room safe didn't work and the breakfast was very minimal. Overall not the same as the other hotels in the Days Inn family.

Absolutely filthy - defies description. Something wrong with power in room - outlets lack sufficient current to run anything. $15/day parking. One interesting thing - I learned shower curtains can become moldy enough to provide for excellent mosquito habitat. Who knew?

the room was disgusting as soon i open the door i regret book it. The beds had bugs, spiders anf sheets not clean. Bathroom wasnt clean. Complain to the front desk people but couldn't refund my money so they showed me another room a little better but I wouldn't stay there again. Also its not free parking

hotel was ok for the price but when I went to check out, the lady at the desk stated I didn't purchase parking permit so I couldn't be on the property . I stated but I'm checking out where am I suppose to park . Guess if u have a reservation u can't even pull up to the office . She was super rude

Nice hotel, close to Marriott hotel but cheaper. Also close to Macy's.

the room was ok.... bathroom could be larger and door was hard to lock from inside.......................................................................................................................................................

We had trobles with the shower, but they made the pertinent arregement.

This is near my work and I commute often and I continuously come back to this hotel.
