Receptionist was very warm and friendly...room was clean, warm and comfortable...good stay, and would stay there again!

I have to stay in a lot of motels and this is one I would stay at many times if I were in the area more. Great breakfast!

I really enjoyed our stay. The beds were big enough to fit both of my 6' boys.

Everything was very good with the exception of wakeup calls.

Overall, the hotel is fine. The room was clean and the beds seemed to be fairly new with a good mattress! The rug in the room was stained, although vacuumed and clean. The bathroom was older, especially the shower/tub. BUT it was all clean. I'm not sure I would pay the price that they were asking again on another visit. I think it was high for this hotel. Staff was nice. Breakfast room was a little small. The continental breakfast looked to have some eggs and breakfast meat included, but when we got there, it was down to scraps and it didn't seem like there would be anymore coming. I have stayed at just about every other hotel in San Angelo over the past 7 years, and this one would rank in the upper third of the ones I stayed at. It serves the purpose of a place to shower and sleep that is clean.

Very friendly staff. Rooms were immaculate & food was very good. This is a great place to stay in San Angelo, Tx. Excellent even by Best Western standards!

I have never written a review before but I feel that I need to today. I think we were the only guests on the night we stayed. The parking lot was completely empty. The desk clerk was sitting in the guest lounge when we arrived, not behind the desk. Very unfriendly, never smiled. The best thing I could say about the room was that the mattress was comfortable! The fiberglass shower walls were badly cracked, hair in the tub, years of dirt build up in the corners of the bathroom, toilet tissue roll was almost empty. Seems like with so many vacancies we could have been given a better room. Or perhaps this was the best!! The air conditioning barely worked. We turned it down to 68 and had no relief. There are lots of places to stay in San Angelo. Pick another!

An older hotel in need of updates. Located by main loop highway but noise not a problem. Dirty carpets and inconsistent cleaning and breakfast services. Staff often seemed overwhelmed by volume of customers.

Check-in was easy. The room was clean. The king-size bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and everything worked quite well. The TV, microwave, refrig, and AC worked as expected. Located on the loop next to a steak house and there are other rest. close by. Very quiet in the room. We had 2 very comfortable nights. Another funeral attendee was staying there and she was happy with her room also.

You need to know that at this motel, "KS" means King size bed - Smoking room - not a King size bed Single. I walked into what the front desk said was the last room available which is a smoking room that reeked of smoke. I had no choice but to stay. Won't do that again!!!

As I checked in there was someone in front of me who was already angry with the reception lady. The tone the reception lady took with me was not very nice and she proceeded to tell me that my rooms were different than I had specified on my itnerary. She blamed it on the website I booked through and told me there was nothing she was willing nor able to do. My room reeked of smoke and my alarm clock was missing from my room. The room would have been great except for that smoke smell.

After being in my room for 10 minutes I noticed a sticky substance on the edge of the desk. As it turned out it was all over my dress shirt. The women at the front desk couldn't have cared less. The facilites were also a problem of which I won't go into. Sleep in your car if there are no other rooms available in this town.

Shower was not very clean. Breakfast came in wrappers.

My wife and I were attending a tradeshow for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed this room. We were pleased that there was a frige and a microwave, a hair dryer and an iron and board. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was adequate. Terrific value. Highly recommended!

I arrived very early on my reservation day and the lady at the desk was extremely help full in getting me into my room ASAP! She even noticed that I was booked for the incorrect type of room and made everything right. The discounts at local restaurants were a nice feature, too. Only drawback that was a concern with me was the strong air freshener smell in the room, but that's just me. I can't stand strong fragrances. Great stay, overall.

Clean room, staff was friendly, great location. Truly impressed with overall package. We would definately stay there again.

It was alright. Nothing to write home about. The room smelled like smoke.

The staff was helpful, and patient. The cleaning staff was warm and friendly, and efficient too. My room was very clean and in a quiet location. I slept well every night! The breakfast was good, except every morning the boiled eggs ran out first thing after 8 am.

We arrived for our room at 2:30 in the afternoon and were directed to our room. When we got to our room the door was unlocked, open, and the room was a disaster. The front desk later notified us that our room was to only one available and we would have to wait approximately an hour before our room would be ready. When we finally got into the room, the afternoon sun was no match for our airconditioner. The room was not at a comfortable temperature until late in the evening when the sun had been down for a while. At checkout the front desk said they were aware that the western sun made the rooms very warm, but did not seem to show any interest in making a change.

The Best Western in San Angelo was better than what I expected. The room was extremely clean and very well equipt. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. The Best Western is located in the most tourist friendly area. I will definately be staying there again, as well as referring it to anyone planning on visiting the San Angelo area!
