I really enjoyed my stay at Anantera Bophut. The resort was beautiful with plenty of space and different areas where you could find some solitude or be around others. Great pool area, beautiful beach, good gym open 24 hours. The spa was lovely and the massages top notch. The breakfast buffet was had many choices ranging from congee, Asian style soups, breads and baked goods, eggs Benedict, cheeses, fresh fruits, etc. Also although there were several families with children, they have a separate area for kids and they were not intrusive around the pool. The beach was clean and well watched by their security staff. And most importantly, the service was impeccable. Without exception, the staff were friendly, welcoming and could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend!

Very relaxing environment, very nice personels, very convenient location and very delicious breakfast with so many varieties plus all the details provided in our room giving us an unforgotable experience and memories. they didn't provide all the way free wifi is a flaw in this nice resort.
Lovely pool, great room, excellent restaurants and beautiful private beach. The location was very convenient for getting around and the lotions and soaps they provided in the room were so uniquely Thai and smelled wonderful. Great stay, wonderful service, highly recommend.
Awesome location for everyone. The breakfast included has many great choices. You are not far from anywhere you need to go in Koh Samui and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Additionally, the hotel is adjacent to Fisherman's Village which you can walk around and shop in any day of the week. You can't go wrong by staying here and everyone will be very happy you made the choice to do so.
After spending a few days in budget hotels in the islands and partying quite a bit, I looked forward to my time at Anantara as a sort of detox. I was especially excited about how it was described as a hotel with several activities throughout the day. I thought I could do yoga, Thai boxing, and snorkeling all at or close to the property. At this, I was disappointed. They had one, maybe two activities on the resort (with fees for doing yoga). There really wasn’t much to do on the premises. It is, however, close to the Fisherman’s Village, a busy tourist area with shops and restaurants. One thing that irked me about the staff is the length it took to check-in. It’s something that I’ve found common in many Thai hotels. Even though I’ve already entered personal data information when making the reservation, I had to give them a lot of the same information again. The whole checking-in took over 10 minutes, which in this day and age seems way too long. The overall hotel is nice, and the rooms are clean. But there are many other places on Ko Samui that offer a better value. I give it 3.5 stars.
I've stayed in several spots on Ko Samui and this is by far the best. You stay at a beautiful hotel and then walk right outside to the "Fisherman's Village" area where there are a number of good restaurants on the beach--all far away from the extremely busy main streets of Ko Samui.
Stayed here 1st-4th May 2014 for our last leg of honeymoon. Everything the hotel offered was very good. Very professional, efficient & friendly service. Clean rooms. Location is right next to Bo Phut's Fisherman's Village, so lots of restaurants & shops near by. Highly Recommended.
