Located in Sam Phran, Suan Sampran is in the suburbs and on the waterfront. Thai Human Imagery Museum and Wat Tha Mai are cultural highlights, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Victoria Gardens and Thonburi Market Plaza 2. Traveling with kids? Don't miss Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo.
I stay here several times a year as I have business locally, but I always look forward to returning. The staff are attentive, polite and friendly; the rooms are large and comfortable; and the food - with many organic ingredients grown on site - is delicious Thai cuisine of the highest quality. The site has several old traditional buildings and is set in a Rose Garden; which was the former name of this hotel. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, with flowers all year round. There is a small market of local Thai products, as well as a spa - I haven’t had chance to experience this as I am always there for work. The hotel sits on the banks of a tidal river so you can watch the direction of flow change throughout the day. Breakfast is fabulous with a mix of Asian and Western food. Highly recommended.
