I’m so pleased with the excellent service that was given at this spectacular hotel. I’ve stayed in 50+ Hotels and the front desk staff here was the best. We checked in with Georg. He was helpful, kind, courteous, and professional. The check in process was fast, which made a big difference since we have a 1 year old. My daughter loved Georg, they were buddies. I’m so pleased and I wish all hotels had employees like him.
A beautifully located hotel with views of the lakes and mountains. The rooms are a good size and well equipped. Also very comfortable. We were here for a wedding and enjoyed the weekend. While housekeeping were thorough and the room spotless. They woke us up at 8am on our departure day which was very annoying as we had been up until 2am the night before for our friends wedding celebration. Also we had to request service during the stay which took all day until the late afternoon to happen when we were trying to get ready for the evenings events. Breakfast was good. A buffet job but well presented. However low on service. The restaurant was beautiful and we had lunch and din we which were excellent. Great food and superb friendly and professional staff.
Beautiful hotel with mountain and lake great for hiking and relaxation. The staff was very friendly and a special thanks to the bartender Tobias. Really enjoyed the pool and spa for peace and quiet. The food in the dining room was fantastic and the service was excellent. I walked down to the lake front and to the other Sheraton and it looked like a great place to swim in the lake but was a cold rainy day. Will definitely make a trip here next summer.
We stayed at this hotel during our tour for one night. Very nice hotel. Great design features. Food was good; breakfast was a good but very small area to eat. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were comfortable also and well designed. Great views of golf course.
This is the best of both worlds, surrounded by gently rolling hills and sparkling water lakes, this Sheraton is located ideally for enjoying some peace and tranquility or being in the culturally rich city of Salzburg in less than half an hour. We have been travelling for almost 2 weeks through Germany and Austria and this is where we begin our homeward trip. I always book something specially for our last few days, it makes it easier to handle the end of a holiday. Well this was a very good choice, I opted for a larger well appointed room on a corner, complete with coffee maker, kettle and supplies. The balcony, I think most if not all rooms have balconies, overlooks the golf course, lake Fuschlsee and rolling hills in the distance. This is a very large hotel, it is 300 metres from our room to the restaurant, but the staff make it feel welcoming and if not cosy, certainly comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, the bar where we ate a couple of meals is comfortable and the restaurant served a good meal of the local fish. The swimming pool is indoor and the spa is rather grand and well serviced with saunas, steam rooms and power showers. Be aware in the spa no bathing suits are allowed but you can have a towel to cover your modesty. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves…. This is a Sheraton so it is not inexpensive, but you are cocooned by the high standards of service and consideration for your well being. Speaking of which if you want a particularly good sports massage (by which I mean occasionally uncomfortable) ask for Stefan, he gave me the best massage I have ever had.
We stayed at the Sheraton Fusclsee on a vacation trip with our four grandchildren. It was an excellent experience in all respects. The property was beautiful, the staff was very accommodating, the food was very good, the concierge was extremely helpful, and it was an overall wonderful experience. It was, also, one of our granddaughter's thirteenth birthday, and the breakfast staff decorated our table beautifully, provided an excellent birthday cake, and were very kind and warm in singing Happy Birthday to Emma. While there is a beautiful pool at the Hotel, one of our days we opted to go to the very nearby public beach on the lake and had a wonderful time. Also, on Emma's birthday we went to the Hotel's neighboring sister property and chartered the wooden Zille boat for an incredible hour on the lake. I highly recommend the Hotel and the local area - beautiful. the people were warm, and there are a lot of great things to do.
Belongs to Schloss Fuschl, is the second class complex for the budget travellers. Was newly built with traditional style elements. Situated close to a main road, sleeping with open window not possible. Belongs to Sheraton booking system, so expect bus loads of package travellers. The entrance area is adorned with proud deer trophies - but these are caribous which can be found only thousands of miles away. Restaurant Jägerhof of similar quality. In total a mixed adventure.
We booked the Sheraton while driving to our final destination as a stop-over. The hotel is located in a beautiful area and setting. The hotel is extremely nice, and it's a typical Austrian type of building. Quite a lot of wood and the staff is dressed up in traditional clothing. After a long drive the pool was a great area to refresh. Nice and modern pool with ability to take a sun bath outside. We got upgraded for both of our rooms to a suite, which was a two story room. The suite was pretty nice, lots of room and great bathroom. The staff also provided a fruit plate in the room at arrival! Staff is very helpful in recommendations for food and surroundings. Breakfast on the patio in the morning sunlight was great. lots of choice for breakfast, including an omelet station and waffles. Great stay, great team, great hotel!
Sheraton Fuschlsee was merely a stopover for us on our roadtrip, as our ambition was to experience driving over the Alps and turn back the next day. However we found ourselves more than happy with the lovely Sheraton Fuschlsee, its quiet beautiful location and nice spa area. On our arrival we were provided an upgrade to a suite, which had more than enough space for our needs. The room was a bit old-fashioned with its dark wooden furniture, but on the other hand this suits the spirit of the old hunting house. The bathroom was very nice with a separate shower and a bathtub under a rooftop window, offering you the opportunity to gaze the stars while taking a bath. We were very positively surprised by the spa area, which offered several different types of saunas, an indoor pool with a small jacuzzi corner and sunbathing opportunity on the terrace. Unfortunately we were not in full health to enjoy the restaurant's offer during our dinner (something we caught already from Slovenia), but the menu had nice offer of local fish, game and mushroom based dishes. In the morning however we enjoyed an overwhelmingly huge in-room breakfast, which is recommended for those who want to stay in bed longer. Right next to the hotel there is a golf course that we didn't visit this time while traveling without our golf bags. The hotel impressed me however so much that I am already planning for a long weekend and that time I will also take my clubs with me.
We stayed there 2 nights at the end of June. The hotel is located nearby the Fuschlsee lake, far away (20 minutes driving distance) from the city center. It only takes us 10 minutes to walk from hotel to the lake. I was jogging along the trail surrounding the lake, the full circle is roughly 11-12km, passing through a beautiful town AM SEE. We opened the window but it's still a bit hot as there was no air-con inside the room. The breakfast is just great, taste and variety. We also tried the restaurant inside the hotel. It's a bit pricey but the food is also great, I tried the trout, it's refreshing and very delicious.
