Very nice and caring service. Hotel is clean and conveniently located. It’s well maintained but it’s rather an old hotel with furniture having many-many years, and not most comfortable beds, especially pillows are jusf uncomfortable.

The common areas on ground floor are nicely decorated in period style, but otherwise I struggle to find other aspects of this hotel that reminds me of Mozart. Our rooms were tiny, barely able to open luggages in, and the bathrooms were cramped. Furnishing was fairly basic, but hygiene was good and we rested well. Considering its convenient location and reasonable rate, I can still recommend this hotel all things considered. It's just not a romantic or artistic hotel as its name may suggest, but rather workmanlike.

I have stayed at the Hotel Mozart twice, both times with friends and both times we picked the hotel because it has good rooms for groups of friends. Most recently, we shared a triple room with three proper single beds that were comfortable. The rooms are a decent size. The hotel is in a great location - there are lots of restaurants and bars nearby that are worth exploring. We only had breakfast once, it was quite basic with cereals, fruit, pastries/cakes and a deli counter, but the waitress was very accommodating when we all ordered poached eggs. The rooms are comfortable, but there is no safe and the bath towels were small! (I always notice this as I am tall.) Overall, this is a great hotel and I recommend it.

This hotel is across the river from the old town, just a couple of blocks from Mirabell Gardens, Mozart's Home museum, and St. Sebastian's. It is nearby a variety of shopping, small grocery markets, and restaurants. Very nice clean area. It's about half-way to the train station from old town, with reasonably priced (metered) taxi cab rides. Also, it is very reasonable to ride the taxi to old town vs taking the bus, which has a bus stop in front of the hotel. The room we had was a regular room (we think), a typical sized room that we would find in a nice American hotel - not a postage stamp sized room like in many European cities. Not sure how the other rooms are. The hotel's location is nice and appeared to be very safe to walk in the evenings. Great water pressure and hot water for the bathroom. The breakfast is very good and typical of a nice hotel with great service from the hostesses. Good coffee too! The hotel staff was great and they were very helpful. We would stay there again. Our visit this time was too short.

My wife & I spent our wedding anniversary in Salzburg and this delightful hotel helped make it a memorable one. It's a tidy little place located in a strategic part of the city, with easy access to the old city and public transport. Our room was very comfortable and the staff wonderfully hospitable. Special mention must be made of Layla, Rene & Bruno, and the lovely ladies who served us breakfast. Highly recommended.

This hotel is both a short walk to the train station and a short walk to the river and the old city part of Salzburg and any of the commonly used bridges going across the river. The hotel is well run and we appreciated a little bit of directions from the front desk occasionally. Staying there during the warm part of the Summer made for difficult sleeping, the hotel is not air conditioned and leaving the windows open, which provided adequate cooling, let in the sounds from a noisy and apparently busy street below during the night. The rooms are clean, as is the hotel.

It was already midnight as we arrived via a late train, and we had a genuine miscommunication about our reservation-- we had three women instead of the two the hotel expected. Despite the policy I received with my reservation confirmation which stated that each additional guest would be subject to $30 extra for the double room, the staff said it was not allowed. They had a big 4-bedroom to offer, but refused to accept anything less than double what we already paid (which was extremely higher than the current rate listed online.) We were genuinely apologetic about the miscommunication, but he was very condescending. I honestly think if they did not have the bigger room available, he would have kicked us out on the street at 12am rather than let us stay in the room we reserved and/or pay the reasonable extra fee listed on their policy. Once inside the room, we also saw hair on two of the beds and in the bathroom. Although it wasn't altogether horrible, we were glad to only stay one night.

Good hotel in prime location of Salzburg city, one bus stop is just 10 steps away from the hotel; from there you can take bus for station. Staff members are courteous; they will give you proper information about everything. Electric kettle and fan they will give, if you ask as there is no AC in the room, also if you wish to press your cloths you can ask for that also. Rooms are small but clean.

This is a cute local hotel with super friendly and super helpful staff. Location is great, on a quiet street. Is about 5 min walk to Mirabell garden, and 10-15 min walk to center of the town. And 5 min from some cute cafes and stores. There's no parking on site, but there's parking garage in a cave about 5 min walking distance away from the hotel.

The Hotel Mozart was a great experience for us on our 6 week adventure. I had booked many months earlier and in the remarks area said that we would be traveling for our 40th anniversary. When we arrived, “Rene” at the front desk greeted us, said happy 40th and upgraded us to a corner room. Not expected but much appreciated! Wonderful hotel and very easy walk to nice restaurants and to old Salzburg!
