We were on the road in Mexico and spent a night here. We found it in the dark the second time around the block. It was quaint and clean. Our room had a kitchen and dining area, two bathrooms and a nice bedroom. If you need to stay downtown, this would not be a bad place. The breakfast the next morning was very sufficient. I will post pictures of it.
This hotel is in the middle of the city and a little hard to find. We hailed a taxi and paid him 50 pesos to lead our car to the hotel. Nice rooms, outdoor swimming pool, workout room. They serve a nice buffet breakfast starting at 6 a.m. for the travelers. No restaurant so you must walk a block to a McDonalds or KFC or a grocery store to get some dinner. If you are traveling with children, there might be better hotels in the area.
I picked this hotel as one of the city ads driving from Monterrey to Saltillo mentioned $710 pesos/night including breakfast. When I arrived to the front desk a lazy guy without the minimum customer satisfaction skills (basically just staring to his cell while talking) told me the room fee is 1,090 MXN and the advertisement is just not true; Lack of honesty will take this hotel out of my list.
Rented a junior suite for a week. Room consisted of a small kitchen with all of the amenities (Fridge, Stove, Pots and Dishes), dining area, sitting area with two couches, separate bedroom area, and two bathrooms. Only the bedroom had a TV which was inconvenient to watch a soccer match at night with co-workers also on the trip. Floor needed a better sweeping when I checked in but rest of the suite seemed pretty clean. It was a cold week while I was there, and the windows and door were not well insulated and did not close all of the way. Bedroom had a small heater but you had to keep door closed and the heat cranked up all day to stay warm at night, and in the morning the rest of the suite was freezing cold. Continental breakfast was just ok but did have fresh fruit, coffee, toast, and some egg concoction.
Definitely this place is overpriced for what you will get. Full of outdated furniture. The room is cold as hell and don't have heat as advertising, expect to have a shower in bathroom at 40F or lower. Everybody has been smoking there, rooms stink! ! For sure Saltillo has better places to stay at better price
We have stayed in this hotel every 6 months as we drive to and from Mexico Lake Chapala region. We find it very acceptable, clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast had fresh fruit, cereal and hot food as well. We can recommend the hotel to anyone.
Cute place . We stayed 4 nights ...Beds are horribly hard ( 3 of us all said the same) rooms fairly sparse, but clean ( other than some ants in bathroom one day) . Breakfast is just adequate .. They did get me some decaf on second morning which was nice . Was a little freaked out when I opened the door to see Federal Police agents up and down the stairs of room across the courtyard ! Other than that, had no incidents, and had a pleasant enough stay .
I just want to go to Saltillo for a weekend with my two kids one of them a 1 year old baby girl, the thing is I want to reserve the bigest room (the suite with the kitchen), for 3 adults and the two kids, and at the first they told me that we are too many people for the room, and I ask even if the baby sleeps in her own crab with me, is that a problem?, and they told me yes the baby is little but we reserve the admition for kids because is an ejecutive hotel, so, why they say the family hotel inthe slogan!!!!
Staff was so nice and helpful-I had to change my travel plans three times in two days and they simply helped me trough it with the most kindness and speed. Hearty breakfast free WiFi everywhere, clean room: what else for a perfect business travel? And do try the cabrito!!!
Stayed here for a week in a two bedroom villa. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are gorgeous and the location is across from a supermarket and a couple of fast food outlets should you need to indulge your craving of junk food. Even better though, right next door is Las Gorditas which is great Mexican food or there is the breakfast included with the rate which is more than satisfactory - toast, danishes, yoghurt, fruit, tea/coffee or a cooked breakfast available for 35 (or 39?) peso. There is also free wi-fi and computer access. If you are looking to be close to downtown, it isn't _that_ convenient but it was only a 40 peso taxi ride away so it wasn't a problem.
