Perfect for what it is, a ski resort hotel conveniently located close to the slopes. No luxury, but some pleasant amenities, such as a hot tub. Also, they let you use their common changing rooms with shower even after you check out, which is convenient if you fly out at night after a final day of skiing.

Perfect Cozy get away! Hot tub was fantastic at night and early morning! :)

Don't stay in room 409. You are below ground level looking up at the parking lot. Below is the build utility room and the vent fan are blowing so hard you couldn't hear the TV if you have the sliding door open.

The room was nice and comfortable, well furnished kitchenette was a definite positive. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice amenities and great location at the resort.

Clean room, friendly staff and a beautiful setting.

The hotel and resort itself was built in the 70's so it has a dated feel, from the furniture, to the building. The rooms were clean and comfortable but dated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bottonline you go to Snowbird to ski not to stay at an ultramodern resort. Overall loved my stay and the skiing was top notch.

The room was clean and close to the slopes. Free tea, coffee, etc. at reception is nice. But no tea/coffee maker in the room. Also, no restaurant in the hotel, but there are several within 5-10 minutes walk.

Wonderful anniversary get away, we had the place to ourselves. Late October is the perfect time to be there if you want peace, solitude and beautiful surroundings.

I wish we could have stayed more than two days! Our room was like a small studio apartment with a small kitchen (stocked with all your basic cooking needs), a wood burning fire place, a balcony, and a queen size Murphy bed. The bed was very comfortable, I had some worries because of another review I saw (driver told us the mattress were all less than a year old). The Murphy bed was great because folded up in the wall, we had lots of space in the room. It was very quiet despite the entire resort being completely booked. Oktoberfest was going on and it was nice. I guess the only thing that could have been better is they should up grade their TV's to LCD and larger sizes. However we watched very little TV, it was so beautiful and there was so much to do. I am not an "outdoors" type person and I had a great time. We would gladly go back!

Studio with kitchen is very convenient as the restaurants around are expensive.

The room was comfortable and well equipped. The bed was not comfortable.

We have stayed at all of the Snowbird Resort facilities before and this was by FAR the worst experience we have had. I am normally so excited to spend a weekend there and I was extremely disappointed in my stay. 1 - The door to our room would not open and then would not close. Maintenance came and fixed it when they refused to transfer us to another room. 2 - Our view from the balcony was of the underside of the walkway from the parking lot to the lobby. It was littered with construction materials and when we complained we were told that there's no construction on the weekend. NOT THE POINT! 3 - We had friends come up and meet us to watch a football game at the Tram Club - DO NOT GO THERE!!! We were first informed that they would not honor the free club membership we received with our room because they are privately owned. So, we had to pay to get in and then were left to wait a ridiculous amount of time for our RUDE waitress to come. When she finally did, it was a lot of eye-rolling and sighing as she took our order and then it took over 15 minutes just to get our drinks. We finally walked to the bar to order food and I have honestly NEVER had such cheap, disgusting food at a resort in my life! It was TERRIBLE!!! The service and the product were both about a 1 on a scale of 1-10. 4 - Since we didn't eat our food at the Tram Club, we went to the mexican restaurant on-site. We wanted to sit in the bar but were informed that we couldn't eat in there. So, on the restaurant side we were subjected to a variety of ridiculous rules about having a drink. My husband ordered a shot and a beer and the waitress would not let him have one until the other was gone. When he ordered another shot, she picked up his half drunk beer and held it so the two were not on the table simultaneously. She informed us that this is Utah law. NOT TRUE!!! We are from Utah and follow the law changes closely. The staff needs to be a) more friendly, and b) more knowledgeable about the drinking laws, weird as they are. I have been to this resort at least 10 times before and have never been more disappointed. Because this was meant to be a surprise weekend for my new husband and I, I could not have been more upset about this. Fortunately, he is a good sport. Next year, I'll make other plans!
