Nice facility, but not a pedestrian-friendly area. It's not that close to downtown, but the hotel itself is nice and parking is free.
Area has a lot of homeless and tent people sleeping on streets. Looks like they are trying to revamp area but not quite there.

Utah was the tail end of a business trip where I only spent one day. The facility was perfect for what I needed. The room was clean, spacious and the desk staff were tremendous. The jacuzzi was hot, clean and inviting and served its purpose wonderfully after having spent the past three days in Canada , sitting on an early plane to SLC, and a full day working in SLC. I did however have a snag the next morning….no hot water in the shower. None. That said, Luna at the front desk was able to meet me in a vacant room and I was able to grab a hot shower to set the stage for my day of traveling back home. Excellent work Luna and thanks! Stay here if you want a solid, comfortable place to rest and recharge.
Easy to locate and convenient to get to where we were going. Check in was quick with staff who enjoyed visiting with you. Breakfast was great with times convenient for our stay. The rooms were comfortable for the 5 of us. Nice to have a frog and microwave in our suite.

This hotel is very convenient for us to stay for visiting SLC two days - easy to get to airport and I-15. The hotel staff is hospitable and the hot breakfast is of good quality.

Hotel itself and staff were great, the location was not. It was a little bit of a run down area and homeless & police for several blocks around the hotel every day we went out. Once you passed that area it was better and right in downtown with good amount of stuff around to do.
