Rodeway Inn Salt Lake City Airport

the hotel is in terrible condition. horribly run down with a cafe that stops serving way too early and no room service in the evening which is just as well since i'd be afraid of the food that comes out of that place. an overwhelming smell of bathroom freshener is in the lobby to greet you. their saving grace is the pleasant staff.

Rooms, buildings and grounds need upgrades/better maintenance. The lobby is pretty shabby with stains on the carpet. The pool is decent, but the umbrellas are broken and the chair pads are gross. The room was okay although the air conditioner was falling apart (it still worked). The staff was very helpful and friendly although every time I went to the desk they were in the side room eating. The breakfast is good.

The hotel is older. I use a wheelchair and the hotel was terrible. The doorway to the hall is small and didn't open all the way so it difficult to get thru. Breakfast is not accessible at all.... couldn't even get into the room with all the tables in the way. Our room keys kept re-setting and locking us out. The door by where I had to park wouldn't unlock so we had to drag stuff around the hotel and all the way down the hall to our room. The beds were terrible and hard. Stains all over the carpet. Shower wouldn't stay 1 temperature so you got burnt, then froze, then burnt, then froze. But the hotel staff were awesome.

I was really disappointed since I had stay in Comfort inns many times. First when I got to the room, the sofa was broken and it couldn't be used. The heater sounded like a jet plane taking off when it came on. I had to request my room be cleaned after I ran out of towels. The staff was ok, not what I was use to from Comfort Inn, (Roadway). I was disappointed with the television stations all 22 of them. Didn't even get the normally ABC, NBC, CBS. Nothing I could watch when I was there. I found it a little dark, and scary for a signal person.

Everything about the room was fine. Was disappointed there was no wifi during my stay there.

I read the reviews from others and was expecting a clean comfortable hotel. I was very disappointed in the run down and dirty condition of the room and hotel in general.

Loud middle-of-the-night party on my floor not addressed by nighttime staff, despite my complaints. Lost plenty of sleep. I had to personally break up the party myself.

This hotel was not laid out very well. The elevator is not near the lobby. Older hotel that would need a big face lift to feel like a newer hotel

This hotel is basically in a "hotel park" with many others near the SLC Airport. The rates were great and the room quiet, spacious and spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was conveniently open late and the food was delicious. The waitress was quirky and delightful. For two very tired people, this was the perfect place to crash before heading home.

The staff at this hotel is wonderful. Very accommodating and friendly. The rooms however were not great. There was an odor in our first room, they promptly moved us to another room. However the odor was still present. The pool area was nice, but the water was very cloudy with a lot of debris.

The hotel was very clean , the beds were nice, great location , easy to get too

The staff was excellent. I found the acces from the freeway, very easy to get to the hotel. I would stay again.

Very friendly and helpful staff, on site restaurant had good quality food for dinner and a great breakfast. Only thing missing was a good vegetarian entree, but it was easy to make do from the menu. They also moved my room to the first floor at my request while enroute when I found I would be too tired to hoof the bags to a second floor room. And the bed was perfect!

Poor condition for the price paid and a hard to find location. Will not stay there again.

I travel for a living and this was the 3rd smelliest room I've every had. I asked for non-smoking and got a room that would gag a maggot. So I opened the window only to find out we were 25 yds from the Hiway. I called the front desk and he said "can't do anything about it". I should have stayed with the Marriott. I've never had poor service there. Almost forgot - went to the breakfast and there was a short black curly hair in my eggs! I told the guy working there and he said "oh". That's it..

The best property we've stayed at in a very long time! The clerk (male) at check-in was great! He was very nice and genuinely friendly. He fullfilled a couple of our requests before we requested them! He saw my mom on oxygen and found a room that required the least amount of walking to get to. Breakfast is Breakfast, with REAL dishes! Only a restaurant has more items to choose from. You can even eat outside on the beautiful patio! Do not pass this one up - you won't regret it.

This motel was very clean. It also included a great breakfast bar!!
