It was a OKAY experience. Nothing great but nothing bad. Only big disappointment was that their spa wasn't working. I was looking forward to soak in the spa after a few hours of driving getting there but it was not on. Other than that, the room was clean and the breakfast was decent.

The rooms and pool area are not as big as the look in the pictures. The hot tub (spa) was broken during are 4 day stay at the hotel.

Everything about this hotel was old and damaged, except for the main lobby. The lobby was very nice, which was very misleading for the rest of the hotel. The sink worked, but the handle was broken so you couldn't control the temperature of the water. The lights worked, but the light switch was cracked. The "indoor pool" was indoors, but it was an annexed building so you had to go outside to get there. The hot tub was hot, but the jets didn't work. Also, only half of the lights worked in the pool building and none of the lights worked in the pool which made it creepy because it was dark outside. I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend it...especially if you're travelling with children. *On a positive note: it did not have bed bugs*

This hotel is exactly what it is for the money. The staff was nice and the room was clean. It is partially renovated. There was a leak in the bathroom ceiling that we made them aware of. The hot water was like warm. It met our needs but is not luxurious.

We picked this place to stay one night on the way back home to avoid staying in the middle of the Salt Lake City. The bed in the room was not made up when we got to the room. It was a noisey room from both inside and outside the hotel. We can hear the shower in the next room, kids screaming in the hall and noise from outside. Breakfast they provided was pathetic. I will never stay there again.

The room was good, no complaints! I would stay again if there was no rooms available close to the hospital.

Friendly staff nice surroundings restaurants nearby easy freeway access

Two adults, two small children. The rooms were comfortable in size and very clean. The staff was accommodating on our requests and had a very service-oriented attitude. The great location just off the interstate and easy access to the canyons are a big plus. Also, we made extensive use of the indoor pool -- a big plus in the winter months.

I love staying at the laquinta in midvale its a great location to everything. they have a great breakfast. Hot tub and pool, even thoughit was a little too much clorene. We had a nice time.

Hotel was nice and clean. It was convenient having the microwave & the mini ref in the room. Staff was welcoming and friendly. We were not able to explore the surrounding as we were only staying the night on our way to Colorado. Price was right.

Hotel is older a run-down looking. Hallway carpets were stained and overall appearance and feel was poor. Room was cleaner than the hallway, but there was still a lot of pet hair on the floor in the room. Bed was good.

The hotel workers were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hot tub and pool were an added bonus! Also there were a lot of restaurants in close proximity. Overall I would recommend this hotel again to anyone in the area. Made our stay enjoyable.

Very clean room, nicely remodeled, staff was excellent, pool was great...only drawback was walls were paper thin and could hear other guests....had to keep bathroom fan on to drown noise out.

Driving across the country can be quite tiresome. Found this hotel that was easy to access and a convenient place to stay on a long trip. The hotel was very clean, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly, and had easy access to lots of restaurants. The pool and hot tub were a great bonus after a long day. And the bed was super comfortable! Really enjoyed this hotel.

Glad I stayed here rooms were very nice for the price room was clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if I pass through.

They had a great breakfast offering (free!) and decent enough rooms for my business trip. Probably not the most comfy room for a vacation, though.

The room was clean, beds were comfy and breakfast was good! Pool area was out of towels, and the tv options were kind of a bummer. But overall it was a great deal for what we paid.

Location was very convenient to get to train to downtown and/or airport. Also the two busses that ran up to the four closest winter resorts were at same spot (5 minute walk). They have a jacuzzi and free quick breakfast. Not the biggest or nicest rooms but a great value. Staff was nice and helpful and common areas were very clean. Great for the budget minded or families. Mcdonalds and Denny's and a gas station are on same block.

Conveniently located near the bus and trax station for getting up the mountain. Great spa. Good budget option.

The common areas look ok but the rooms are in need of repair. I called to have the phone fixed (had to go to another roon) and the smoke detector repaired. No one came so I did the best I could to fix them myself. The area is pretty seedy and there were a few unsavory types hanging about. The breakfast was paultry and one day there wasn't hardly anything left. Waffles is about all they offer. Fitness center had one bike, one vertical and a small weight apparatus. It doesn't appear to get much attention by cleaning staff and towels are not replenished.
