I stayed here last month while in the area for a wedding. It was marvelous! I raved to my friends about this place and am looking forward to returning at some point! Heidi makes you feel so at home! I chose the Langston Hughes room and thoroughly enjoyed it! The bed was so comfortable and the water in the shower felt like being in a spa! Breakfast was simple and delicious! I even enjoyed time in the library (I really am a book lover!). Definitely check it out if you're looking for a place in the area!!

Langston Hughes room was welcoming and full of history. When I returned from dinner the period radio was on soft jazz. Heidi was such a lovely host. She went out of her way to make me feel welcomed. The morning tea was perfect! I would definitely return.

My wife's friend gave us a child free weekend at the Princes Anne Book Lovers Inn B&B for my birthday. From the outside it is a quaint home with almost a southern charm. Once inside it was very clean and organized home. Once we checked in we were shown the TV room, the eating area (cookies were waiting) and then our room. Be prepared there is a distinct British theme in the Our room was clean, towels in the bathroom and a tub. The hostess gave us some tips about where to go during our stay. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was waiting for us in the morning. After breakfast we took up the hostess on her suggestion and visited Berlin, MD. Small town, but had antique shops, friendly people and free parking. We arrived back that evening, watched TV for a bit and retired to our room. The next morning was an English Breakfast and we headed back home. Overall it was a relaxing and great experience at this B&B. We'll return in the future!

We searched for a B and B near Ocean City but far enough away to be quiet, laidback and interesting. We found it all at Princess Anne Book Lovers. Innkeeper Heidi was accommodating and charming. Her home is so very clean and filled with British themed books and decor. She is interesting and very easy to talk to yet unobtrusive. Prices were very reasonable. There are plenty of places nearby to explore and the commute to OC is just 45 minutes. Next time we stay we will definitely have the English tea.

Went to Princess Anne for son's graduation from UMES pharmacy school. Heidi was so welcoming, warm and wonderful. The place is charming and spotlessly clean. The bed was one of the most comfy I've ever experienced and the linens smelled so good. Heidi fussed over us and made us feel like royalty. We are totally going back for just a relaxing vacation some time!

Highly recommend. Everything was excellent!! English breakfast was so delicious! Room was impeccable, clean and very cozy. Great restaurants nearby. Heidi is so amazing and makes you feel right at home! Can’t wait to go back!

Heidi was very kind and welcoming. The home also has a security system and all access to rooms is inside for extra safety. Room was delightfully large with a claw-foot tub - including a variety of bath salts to chose from. The kettle is always hot! I came back at 12 from my event and the kettle had bee turned on and warm with a nice variety of teas to chose from and a tin of little biscuits for a snack. Drink from beautiful cups - not paper - unless you want it. Individually prepared and served breakfast - Heidi was so spoiling!! Even a homemade scone! I would so recommend you visit here if you are going to be in the area - it's a jewel!! Deborah

We were visiting our son at Salisbury University (about 12 minutes away) and all the hotels in the area were booked. We found this lovely B&B quite by accident -- and are very glad we did! The inn was clean and quaint with decor that stayed true to the "book lover" theme. Heidi was warm and welcoming and really made us feel at home. Truthfully, she is what made the place really special. She gave us great advice to check out the town of Berlin on our way home, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed it. We will certainly be back!

Heidi is delightful. Her home is charming, clean and comfortable. I can't say enough positive things about this experience. Heidi is accommodating, understanding, caring and conscientious--she really wants you to feel at home in her B and B and she is successful at making you feel wanted and cared for while still allowing for privacy and independence. I highly recommend staying here for any reason--solo, romantic or business.

Book Lover's Inn, is beyond a B&B, it is an experience. Being in the industry and staying mostly in B&Bs throughout the country, all mostly beautiful and unique, there is one particularity that is rare: genuine grace. Both the beautiful Victorian and the decor truly take you back into the era, with so much attention to detail and by far the warmest welcome I have ever experienced. The rooms exceeded my expectations both in comfort and cleanliness. They overlook the gardens of the Inn. There is a wonderful reading room with an excellent selection of books, and also a large flat screen. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There are always tea and 'biscuits' available as a real English victorian home would have with charm and history everywhere you look. It is located in a quiet street near historical sights and near the University of Maryland, very convenient for Parents. This is a place I will go back to often. Heidi, you are quite an asset to Princess Anne with your beautiful B&B and your excellence in customer service!!
