A little overpriced for what you get. The building in the facility and the room seemed a little abused

I was in Salisbury for a family reunion. We thought we was treating ourselves to a nice hotel, compared to the price of the hotels there that I had stayed in previously I was expecting a very special stay. I am sorry to say that we were very disappointed. We paid three times the price of the other hotels in the area and the rooms were just not worthy. The curtains in our room didn't close for privacy or room darkening, the water pressure in the sink was so powerful that it sprayed all over us, the counter top and the floor since the sink itself was only about 4 inches deep, the handle of the nightstand came off in my hand when I opened the drawer, three was a bus load of teens on the floor where we were and besides the doors banging in the hallway as they visited each other, my husband went outside to smoke throughout the evening and every time he returned he mentioned that the smell of marijuana in the hallway was getting stronger. There was no wifi in our room. The AC was so loud that we could either be cool or watch TV, but there was no way to do both. Compared to other hotels in that area I have stayed in it just wasn't worth the money we paid for it. I could have stayed at the Best Western for less money instead of paying the higher price at the La Quinta. What was supposed to be a 5 day stay there was only one night! I will not make that mistake again.

What is the purpose of a heated indoor pool if it did not work or was not on? Everything else was great but that was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel.

Everything looked good but our second night we found bed bugs. I have 2 kids so I was really disappointed :(

I enjoyed my stay as usual. Great bed, great shower, clean! However, I was so surprised that the staff at the front counter was not friendly. The three times I approached the front desk, there was a different staff member who did not smile and appeared to not like their jobs. Never had that happen at a Laquinta before!

Plus: Large hotel room! Breakfast was great for a LaQuinta (hot eggs, bacon, home fries, bagels, homemade waffles and more). Minus: A/C broke, waited for maintenance men to fix it. They claimed it would get cold-- it never did. We had a dog who panted all night (so did I!) The area wasn't the greatest. Staff seemed ok (other than maintenance who put in another old, broken A/C unit). We had another couple up above us one floor and their A/C worked great so it seemed to be an isolated problem.

My stay at the LaQuinta hotel was wonderful. The room was clean the staff was efficient and friendly. There was a wet towel smell in the bathroom but it was very minor. Comfortable beds affordable bar and a pretty good breakfast the next morning. Next time I am up in Delmarva the La Quinta is where I will stay.

Great place to stay and nice breakfast! The staff were also pleasant

The hotel is pet friendly. My dog enjoyed staying there. In addition, staff were very friendly and patient. Complimentary breakfast was good.

I was familiar with this hotel as it was once the Sheraton and I had been in it many times. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is in the center of town with easy access to both major roads in town Rt 50 & Rt 13. The hotel has a bar & grill and is close to many other eateries. The hotel is also located on the river walk

Pretty nice hotel, clean and comfortable bed and facilities. A/C was broken when we arrived and no other rooms of our type were available, but the maintenance crew came while we went out to dinner and fixed it. Phew!

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was surprisingly very nice.

Unlike most other La Quinta Inns, this has old building and run-down facilities. Its Wi Fi network is named "holidayinn". Staff reception also reflected the feeling of run-down. The Inn needs a renovation work.

The hotel itself was very nice and clean, until you got upstairs in the hallway, I don't know about all of them but the 5 floor halls can use new carpet. it smelled like water damage. The room was clean the bath tub was old looking with rust and the sink in the bathroom drained very slow.

about 35 min from both assateague island and ocean city. room was very clean. staff was very friendly and helpful. $200/night mainly cuz its relatively close to the beach. clientele seemed mixed (trashy unfriendlies mixed in with nice/polite folks) amenties were terrible. bfast was fine/typical. scrambled eggs and biscuits are terrible. coffee and waffles are fantastic. overall you get what u pay for in salisbury, md. perfect for just a cheap place to sleep and grab a quick bfast while visiting OC or Assateague. assuming all cheap hotels in salisbury are similar. maybe find one with better location. "river" pretty gross, on the "other side of the train tracks" next to hospital with helicopter pad

Cold breakfast. Stained rugs but decent bed. Coffee pot in room was not working and it took a day to get a new one. We asked for directions to a restaurant in the area and were given an incorrect address. Never made it there. Parking lot is mall and we had to hunt for a spot. Not our best experience.

I had expected an average stay and that was exactly what we received. They did not have the original room that we booked, a King, so my husband and I had to cramp into a double, which felt like a full. We had a somewhat sleepless night, while in the midst of a long road trip. The breakfast had a lot of variety, but unless you made yourself a hot waffle, everything "hot" was not and it looked like it had been sitting out for awhile. In addition, we had to park off site, as the lot was not large enough to accommodate all of the hotels guests. Otherwise, the room was decent, but the hotel was double the price that I would have payed for the stay ordinarily, and certainly not worth it.

I'd say the only thing I didn't like is we were on the 5th floor and hardly any wifi reception up there. Other than that it was nice. Nice staff, clean hotel, great food in restaurant for dinner as well as breakfast.

The free breakfast was so good and staff are very helpful!!!
