We stopped here on our vacation and it was a nice place with good breakfast with real oatmeal, not packages of oatmeal.
This is an old property acquired by Wyndham. The rooms are large enough but don't "feel" clean. There was a lot of highway/laborers staying one night we were here and were very noisy. Breakfast was a no go. The front desk staff we met were very kind. The pillows were very bad and the bed very hard. Would not recommend. We felt somewhat unsafe on the promptly.
This hotel, located near I-70 and I-135 in Salina, was found to be very clean and comfortable despite its age. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was remarkably good for such a low cost hotel. When I accidentally left an article in the room, housekeeping immediately notified the front desk, who in turn immediately called me, saving me the trouble of a long trip back to retrieve the article. A days drive from Denver, I see no reason to spend more money when such a good budget hotel is available.
We stayed here before, about 4 years or so ago, and it is as good now as it was then. Love the ground floor units, with parking right outside the door. Hot breakfast was a treat after days and days of cold continental breakfasts. Staff and manager are a delight, and housekeeping is diligent. Room was clean, smelled nice, and the AC cooled well.
We were in a pinch for somewhere to stay for the night and they had one room left. The front desk lady (Marlene I think) was very nice and very helpful. The price was good at $65 but the room definitely reflected the price. Outdated n bathroom was gross. I stood on a towel in the shower.
the bed and pillows were comfortable. the bathroom was small but clean. it was a bit noisy but not too bad. breakfast was passable.
This room was comfortable and had everything I needed. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is very clean, and I had a nice stay. The crew is exceptional. Both the front desk and the cleaning crew were incredibly good to me.
The A/C didn't work very well, and the beds were uncomfortable, but it didn't cost much, so I guess that's fair.
We stayed overnight and paid 54 dollars through booking.com, for a queen room. The bed was very comfortable. The room was older, but the whole place is too. It has an indoor pool. We did not swim. We were next to the breakfast area but the guests were not noisy in the morning. The breakfast was excellent also. Eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, etc were offered. The front desk person was a real sweet heart. It is definitely a place we will stay in again if ever in Salina.
The lady at the front desk was awesome! We were traveling from Colorado with a pick up truck and trailer in a storm. We called ahead to Book a room and she held one for us until we got there. The hotel was filling up fast because people were stopping for the day because of the bad storm. She even moved her vehicle so we would have room to park our truck and trailer in the parking lot. Also an awesome little mom-and-pop restaurant next-door! Great value for the price.
