This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. It looked like the picture in the ads and online. The staff was outstanding and helpful. The room was perfect and the breakfast was better than I could make at home. The woman who looked after the breakfast area was friendly and always ready to help. We loved it.
Made reservations to be in the area for a college graduation. Did not disappoint. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Sausage patties were great. It is close to interstate so you may get a little road noise but it wasn't bad. Staff was very friendly, I asked for a late check out and it was no problem. Parking was also good. I would stay here again.
We reserved 3 rooms for 3 travelling couples. The rooms are very nice size with a couch seatung area. Using AAA they were under $100. $20 less than athe next higher rated hotel. Ours included beakfast...the other horel dis not. Breakfast included make your own waffles which are very good. Also eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, cereal, breads, etc. Close to 135 highway but far enough away that we didnt hear traffic noise. Beds are very comfortable. Overall a very good deal and stay experience.
The room was good overall. The bed was comfortable and the pillows weren't too soft. My only complaint was that the bed was so close to the window that to get out of the bed, I had to climb out over the bottom. Breakfast was good. The WiFi was adequate. The staff was friendly. This will be my place to stay whenever I'm in Salina.
What a great place to stay! The staff were amazing. when we were checking in, my step dad pointed over to the breakfast area and joked that that must be where they serve the steak and lobster. The front desk smiled and said yes sure is! The next morning, we went downstairs for breakfast and it was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had (and we travel alot so we have seen plenty of hotel breakfasts) the sausage patties were actually patties! not thin little slices or links. All of the food was hot and ready to go. The room was good, the only downfall was when you pulled the couch out to make a bed it took up the entire walk space from the bed to the bathroom so if you had to get up in the middle of the night you bumped into that sofa bed. check out was a breeze. Anytime staff saw us they made sure to say hi and make sure we had everything we needed. We did not utilize their pool/hot tub or workout center as we got there pretty late and had to head to Topeka the next morning.
We’ve gone to Salina 5 of the last 6 years and have stayed here all of those times. We really like it that the rooms are suites with the extra sofa and at very reasonable rates. The breakfast has always been good & the hotel is clean.
We had a nice room for a quick stop over during a long drive the room was comfortable with a sitting area king size bed and tub shower combo. It did sit next to a highway in the road noise you could hear in the room. There were plenty of selections for breakfast which overall the stay was very good.
Do not stay here. It's really awful. We were here just before the holidays and it has taken a real nose dive in the last few months. What happened to the nice lady who did breakfast the last time? I guess the rude people she had to work with ran her off.
Jennifer Jimenez was the best hotel staff member at the hotel. She know the hotel and the guests along with my family. She made us feel very welcome. Job well done Jennifer. Keep up the great customer service.
Our family has been staying at this hotel several times a year for many years. We come to visit our dad, and this time it was to have our Christmas family gathering. Usually we meet somewhere else, but it was unavailable. Comfort Suites let us, for a small price, use their meeting room ALL DAY for our 28 people. We had a blast, and there was much laughter, talk, and food. We also often take over the lobby or dining area for games or talking. Always, the staff has been great and we appreciate it more than words can express
