We booked a good prepaid deal for a superior room with breakfast on Expedia and have to say that it was very good value for money. We had a good sized double room with fridge, aircon and free WiFi, the only downside was that the shower had a poor flow. Breakfast offered a good selection. There was plenty of free parking on the road outside or you can pay EUR 7 for secure parking on site. It's around a 20 minute walk to the historic centre of the old town.

We were driving around Puglia, "winging it" and discovered Hotel Zenit. Fantastic reception staff. Really helpful and willing to assist. Room was large and roomy. Bathroom was good, even if shower was a bit "squeezy." Breakfast was normal Italian fare, with I think the best coffee we had in Italy. Just a relatively short work to the old town and restaurants. Lecce well worth a visit and Hotel Zenit highly recommended.

We stayed at the Zenit for 3 nights in July. We didn't expect much since it was under 50 euro per night, but were very impressed with the size of the rooms, cleanliness and facilities, like wifi and air conditioning. The breakfast was fantastic and well worth the 5 euro per person extra with locally made cheeses (try the burrata and fresh cheeses), breads, fresh fruit and pastries (try the pasticcioto). Having breakfast outside in a shaded area was an unexpected bonus. Annalisa and Ivan at the desk were very efficient with booking tours, taxis and seemed genuinely interested in their guests. The location is within walking distance of the bus station and the Centro Storico. I can't fault this hotel. I would go back and highly recommend it.

We stayed for 3 nights in June with a group of classic-car enthusiasts visiting the greek-speaking towns of S.Italy. The hotel is situated in an average residential area of Lecce but is only about 15 walk from the historic Lecce center which is a "must see' as it containes beautiful renaissance bulidings and churches. Rooms were large and clean (although lacking in views). Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. The secure car park is a bonus. I would stay again in this hotel. Oh, and before I forget, just across from the hotel next to tyre shop, is a little restaurant (humble in appearance and very "humble" in prices) with excellent pizza, spagetti and musles. Try it and you will not be dissappointed

I had the pleasure to stay 3 days in Lecce in November for Holidays with my wife and our 2 children, our room was extremely big, even for a 4 family members, very clean and silent, last but not least the beds have super comfy brand new materass. Staff is very helpful, polite and available for any needs we had, they speak perfect English, French and German which is a very rare in quality for an hotel in South Italy. Breakfast was very good with wide range of fresh high quality fresh products including cookies, bread and croissants which are daily home made. Last but not least I highly recommend you the annexed restaurant which offers an exquisite offers of the great local cuisine, the chef has even a special menu for the risotti! Unfortunately the only defect that I found in this hotel is that my visit was only 3 nights...

I went to Lecce for a academic event: Simelp and I found a pleasant place to stay. A hotel staff was very efficient, always ready to answer my questions and to provide information that I needed about the City, transportations etc.

great location walking distance from historical sights and main shopping strip, the nicest hotel staff who helped us organise day trips and a great room with so much space i could have fit the whole family

We had the pleasure of staying at the Zenit Salento Hotel, Lecce last week. The service was first rate, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We stayed there with our 3 year old daughter and couldn't have been made more welcome. Central old town Lecce is less than a 15 minute walk away, there's a super market really close by, free carparking on the street virtually outside the hotel. The standard of cleanliness is first rate and breakfast was more than adequate. The staff made our stay really comfortable. Patrick, Heather & Elise - London

The front desk staff were very helpful, spoke good English. The room was very clean, the shower had sufficient water pressure, something not always evident in Italian hotels, and the way the bed had been tastefully set up showed that the staff were happy to do those little extra things that make a visit pleasurable. The hotel is also very close to the airport bus terminal. Recommended!

I enjoy very much my stay in Zenit Hotel I was in Lecce for business so when I arrived to the hotel I was very tired. My bedroom was so big that I could feel I was in a small apartment. I have to children and I thought that this hotel will be also a good option to travel with my family. I recommend it.
