The travelagency booked this hotel for us. The only good thing I can say about it is that the staff was really friendly. The room itself was big, but dark, very sober interior, it smelled bad (like mold, moist, old)... a bit like your grandma's wardrobe. The room was situated at a very busy road, could not open and had some kind of barrs before it. And in the hallway it smelled like somebody smoked sigarettes... it felt more like a prison then a hotel. Please go Some place else. We did! Lecce is beautiful and has so much more to offer! The location is also bad, way too far out of the historical centre. No way it deserves 4 stars.
I have been in this hotel for one night, honestly I did not booked it, it was made from other person, the hotel need a big refurbishment, only the reception area looks nice, the rooms and bathrooms are big but old, old, old style, even the towels need to be changed at least, everywhere is very clean as a good point, my bedroom had the window to a courtyard of block of flats (it is not a nice view), in the breakfast room, they do not offer many options, only cooked ham, no scrumble eggs or fried, only boiled eggs, no fresh fruits, only pineapple and apricot in light syrup, when the juices run out, they do not bring more, the waiters do not smile with customers when someone ask for something, miserable faces, selection of pastries where ok, this hotel must be considered 2 or 3 stars as maximum. my room was in front of the laundry section due that door was always open (508), the bed was comfortable, the tv with some channels, a good point is the historical center is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel. good location. do not only take a look at the price, look for quality.
Central Hotel with car parking facilities underneath hotel with over 50 parking spaces. Excellent customer service from reception staff. Very good rooms , clean with good facilities. Breakfast served in dinning area and had all types from pastries to yoghurt so. Short 5 minute walk to main shopping area and all bars and restaurants. Lecce is well worth a visit
Dated hotel, in need of refurbishment. Missing what you expect from a 4 star hotel nowadays. Been there for business so not booked on my own, so cannot comment on value for money. Breakfast was average. Location is good,as situated within walking distance from Lecce's main square ( S.Oronzo).
We stayed for 1 night at this hotel. Short distance from city centre (1 km or 15 mins walking). Hotel rooms are quite comfortable, nice beds. The hotel has its age although the owners are doing their best to refurbish it. It is a place I would recommend!
Α very modern, clean and comfortable hotel. Although it was difficult the first time for us to find it, we paid off by the fact that it is close to the city center and you can move comfortably on foot. Just 6-7 blocks away form Piazza S. Oronzo and amfiteatro Romano. We had a large room although no view because we were traveling in a group and you have to be lucky to have a room with view... The bathroom was also large, with all the necessary things. The breakfast buffet, enough for our tastes, with good variety. The important, a variety of cheese and yoghurt, Cretan "dakos" with the accompanyings and fruits. Not great variety of sausages. No omelet, just boiled eggs (for those who like it. I don't know if you can order...). Not always available Wifi. Very helpful staff. It was a very good choise of our travel agency.
We recently stayed here on a GRJ. we upgraded to a Junior suite but to be frank you couldn't tell it was an upgrade. The Hotel rooms are very tired and are just adequate. OK I guess if you are staying overnight on business. The food at breakfast and dinner was OK. It is close to the centre of town but still a fair walk. The air conditioning was so old and inefficient that you might as well have left the window open. The views from the rooms are not good and we were in 509 which was very dark.
Located close to the center and offers limited parking facilities. Rooms are big and functional but in need of refurbishment. Free wifi is available and breakfast is ok. The air conditioning system has limited adjustment and is not very efficient.
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The reception is nice and modern, some staff speak English, some don't understand a word. We had a problem when the door to our room was ajar after it had been cleaned, and the staff didn' understand any other language than Italian. So, it was impossible to explain it properly. The room was very big but outdated. The bathroom was spacious but also in need of refurbishmant. The corridor smelled of humidity. Breakfast was basic, but dinner was delicious.
Not sure about the other reviews. The room I was in seem spacious and modern. It is located about 10/15 minutes walk from the centre. Breakfast was included. Best to ask the waiting staff for coffee as the provided ones are very poor by Italian standards.
