Not a good experience at all. It looked like some rooms may have been updated, but my room looked like nothing was maintained since the 80s. Pictures online look way better than in person for all aspects of hotel/room/building. Building was literally crumbling on walkways. There was no fan in the bathroom and hole in wall. No light cover in shower with exposed wires, told front desk, response was "that's how it is supposed to look" . Cigarette burn marks on blankets. Bottom line this is a $20/night hotel at best cause you don't want to sleep in your car. Do yourself a favor look around the area, there are plenty of other hotels on same block as this. The Motel 6 and Super 8 looked in way better shape and were cheaper. We just dealt with it for 2 days, will never stay again.
Loved the view and space by the pool although needs a remodel as well as the bathroom/tub. Laundry/house keeping dishonest.
They are remodeling, but things were dirty, my garbages hadn’t been emptied, the hair dryer was gone, looked like it had been pried off the wall, the white comforter had black smears all over it, and there were lightbulbs missing. Just understaffed maybe?? I tried to call the front desk several times, to no avail. But the view is breathtaking! And it was pretty quiet and I felt safe!
Not excited about paint peeling off wall, no extra toilet paper, had to go to front desk for coffee, wash cloths had makeup stains.
There is only one laundry area thats not enough for a building of this size
Clean remodeled room Nothing else to add but you have to add r
As always a kind helpful staff. Great mountain views
Property is ancient. It has not been upgraded in decades. Walked into the room and left. Found another hotel and paid for another room.
Nice upgraded room and great mountain view. Good breakfast selection
Only a one night stay and was fine. Could use new carpet and bathroom Sheetrock should be replaced
Great view. It appears to be going through some type of renavation. The dumpster was overflowing but the staff kept dumping garbage which landed in the parking lot.
Quiet country setting on the edge of city, modern rooms
Nice view. Out-of-the-way location. Complimentary breakfast not worth bothering with. Advertised fitness center unavailable due to construction.
This is an economical hotel in the surrounding Blacksburg area. Was looking only for a place to sleep after the game. This is nothing fancy, while furnishings and linens look dated and a couple dents and wallpper rips on the walls the room was amazingly clean. Would sty again in the future if necessary.
The non smoking room was so full of smoke that my child was coughing and my eyes were burning. The rooms were filthy and the bed was uncomfortable and extremely outdated. I asked to switch rooms and was told no. Do not waste your time booking here.
