We stayed 2 nights at this medium sized hotel about 5 minutes walk from the main Plaza Mayor. We arrived by train at Salamanca La Alemedilla station which is around 15 minutes walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very busy during our stay so breakfast was crowded and the staff had to work very hard clearing tables and restocking the food and drink. Overall though they did a good job. Room was pleasant and bed was comfortable. My only complaint was that it was very difficult to rest during the afternoon due to noise coming up from the covered courtyard below. Fortunately this was not a problem at night when it was closed. Overall a good stay in a nice hotel that was good value for money.
We have stayed in Salamanca several times before and like to try different hotels. Our room at Rona Dalba was very reasonable and for a relatively small hotel the room was a good size. Our window overlooked an internal central area, with overgrown vegetation - this, however did not matter to us as we didn't hear the road noise at the front. We did, however, hear "high jinks" from the bedroom next door, which we could have done without!! We used the nearby garage for parking, which was very convenient and it was just a short walk to the beautiful Plaza Mayor of Salamanca. All in all a good experience.
We found the Hotel very well situated. In a great position for all the sites. No problem for walking into the City. Good value for money. Staff very helpful. Very clean . We would recommend this Hotel .
perfect hotel and place for bussines and leisure. very well located. Th service is kind, breakfast above average in 3 star hotel.. I liked very much and in the future I will use it, for sure.Cleaness is outstanding.
We stayed one night only. The room was correct size, clean and quiet. The hotel is located very close to the centre, the reception very friendly. Overall good value for money for a short stay in Salamanca.
Great location for centre of Salamanca but was tricky to find. Poor car parking - website said hotel has parking but it doesn't. Staff are pleasant and very helpful. Clean modern rooms and good wifi! Bar facilities OK, didn't use the restaurant.
We stayed there for 3 nights while in Salamanca. For a start, as Catholics in a visit as 'pilgrims and explorers' the hotel is just across St. John the Baptist Church and square. The square is very significant because there is a marker where San Vicente Ferrer (a popular saint in the Philippines) once preached. The hotel is a short walk from Plaza Mayor. During our stay, we were able to walk back to the hotel to freshen up before getting out to see other tourist spot. A block away is a convenient store. The staff were very helpful and nice. We liked the choices for breakfast especially the tapas and fruits. Yes, we are going back to Salamanca (did they not say that visitors who could spot the frog on the skull at U of Salamanca would return?) and we'll be staying there again.
Friendly people speaking different languages, nice, spacious and clean rooms, private parking nearby, good breakfast, little distance from PlazaMayor and all city-highlights, restaurants and bars nearby.
A European road trip which after a long drive through France we arrived at our first stop the Silken Rona Dalba in Salamanca. The three stars hide a little gem of a hotel that was fabulous from start to finish. Private parking off road, a receptionist who couldn't do enough to help us and staff throughout the hotel who were willing to stop and help. Our rooms were doubles overlooking the old convent opposite, they were more than adequate and the breakfast in the mornings delicious. The hotel is situated in the perfect position for tourists, no more than a couple of minutes walk away from the beautiful city centre of Salamanca. We only had two nights but really wished we had more. Well done Silken Rona Dalba, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you and will definitely return.
Traveling through Spain with our Labrador this hotel ticked all the boxes ( I have read reviews that the breakfast was poor but when in Spain is what I say tomato on toast with oil suits). It very central, rooms very nice great dog areas within 100mts. I will be staying again next trip. I would describe it as top end 3 star which suits relaxed travellers perfectly
