From the moment we checked in with Jaime to leaving 2 days later, we received the best service in a great room. Comfortable beds and pillows, amazing powerful.....just a great stay. Breakfast was excellent and thanks to the lady on duty for organising gluten free rolls. This hotel is very sensitive to food allergies and there were many options readily available to us during our stay. Car parking was easy to find once we checked with the desk and no issues really parking and easy to access our room with luggage via the lift. WiFi was super fast and best we’ve encountered during our holidays. The hotel is close to all tourist areas, Cathedral and Placa Mayor. If you are planning on going to Salamanca definitely stay here. Thanks for a great stay.

The hotel is in an ideal location in Salamanca, very close to the plaza, and the staff was very friendly. I had been traveling for 26 hours and was thrilled to find snacks in the room at a reasonable price. The breakfast was wonderful; far better than a typical American chain breakfast. The room was cozy and the hotel is very clean. There may be a few steps here and there to get to your room, fyi. Bring earplugs because the night life in Spain goes LATE. :) I had to shut my bathroom door because a vent allowed the street noise in, but it was all part of the experience. The free wi-fi was wonderful. Best value on a hotel I've had in ages! Highly recommend.

We booked direct on the hotel website (instead of a third-party booking site), and requested private parking in the underground car park. We had a route mapped out for the three and a half hour journey from the Brittany Ferries port in Santander, but this was one of those rare occasions when the sat-nav took us exactly to the garage entrance, at the rear of the hotel (yes - through narrow back streets, but easily done). The check-in was very friendly, and our room on the top (third) floor was large, clean with quirky toiletries; a mini-bar; room safe; large bathroom with powerful shower. Great location - only 5 minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor which is beautifully illuminated at night. A very comprehensive breakfast is offered in the brightly lit basement, with the usual hot dishes of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages - as well as a varied choice of fruits and cereals and drinks. Overall a great little hotel and great value for money. The only small negative was the lack of a view, and we also had two twin beds pushed together - having requested a double. But not really a problem

Hotel pequeño, supercentrico, comodo y limpio, buen desayuno. Parking para acrobatas Really centric small hotel, good breakfast, clean and comfortable, Parking in the building but quite crazy to use it

Smooth check in with friendly staff, plenty of space in our room, nice toiletries and great breakfast. We could walk everywhere, in a great location close to Plaza Mayor, restaurants and tourist attractions.

I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about Room Mate Vega. At first felt like a glorified hostel. Sure, it could use some updating. My room was on the top floor and only had a sky light. Which provided plenty of light. Was a decent size. Bathroom was big enough. Could use some refreshing. Yet between the location (excellent), the amazing staff, and cost it all worked for me. I can be a bit particular about hotels. In this case it was all good and I would most definitely stay here again. Also, if coming by train the No. 1 bus across from the station exit drops you off within a few meters of the hotel. All was seamless while staying at Room Mate Vega.

Starting with the positives, I found both the desk staff and the housekeeping staff to be super smiley and friendly. The location is quite close to the Plaza Mayor and all the major sites. However, my room small and dated. Carpet needs updating and the bathroom was so small when I sat on the toilet my knees were under the sink! Seriously not sure that a bigger person would even fit in this space. When I turned on the bathroom light it made this weird kaa-thunking noise every time and took a while to turn on. I found the mattress and pillows to be adequate. While in Salamanca I also stayed at the Catalonia Plaza Mayor and thought it was a better choice for me.

We stayed in Salamanca for 1 night , and wish we made it 2! Upon arrival the hotel is nice and clean staff are ever so friendly and helpful. Also good with English!! I didn't think it would be difficult but Spain has proven that there is quite a bit of a language barrier. The room was a nice set out which was spacious for 2 people. Beds and pillows are VERY comfortable for a little '3 star hotel' Breakfast was 13 euro for 2 people and just what you need. Only a couple of things that we noticed: Our bed wasn't a double , rather it was 2 singles pushed together which wasn't what we had requested. However, It wasn't a big enough issue for us to bring it to receptions attention so we had left it, especially as it was only one night. We were happy with our stay.

Lovely up market hotel. It is only a short distance from the Plaza Mayor. It has a discrete entrance that was hard to find . The garage was down a side street and free for motorcycles. The reception was cool. The room great ( except for the slowest filling bath I have ever seen) Decent breakfast with a wide choice ( including 3 hot choices... really rare in Spain )

The price/quality ratio of this hotel is above standard. Everything was very clean, rooms are large and very confortable, you are just 5 to 10 min walking of all the historic places in Salamanca. Breakfast with lot of things until 12h00. Parking is available, wichi is very important in this area of the city. We would stay there again, definitely!
