As soon as we stepped into the hotel, we regretted only to stay there for just one night. Location is good, just round the corner from the university and the cathedral. Everything is within the walking distance. The terrace with views to San Esteban church won our heart. Our rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the view over the window was good. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The only short fall was the steps at the entrance made it hard for elderly guests to access. Overall it's a good choice !

We have just had 3 nights at this lovely hotel, and would definitely recommend it - with some provisos. As others have said, the hotel is well located to see all the sights of the old town, the Roman bridge and the Art Noveau Museum etc. We came by train, and caught the number 1 bus from the station to the hotel. The entry stairs to the hotel are a bit of a shock on arrival, but the hotel staff are quick to help with luggage! We had booked a junior suite - but when we checked in, we discovered the JS was on 2 levels, quite dark and closed in with steep marble stairs up to the bedroom and bathroom...not at all satisfactory for us for 3 nights. Unfortunately, the hotel website doesn't seem to say that the JS has stairs! Luckily, the hotel was able to change our room to a level 3 room with a balcony, no stairs, and a beautiful outlook to the church and facing the street...so we were very happy. The level 3 room was spacious, clean, well equipped, and everything worked well. The kettle for boiling water was appreciated too. The room was a bit noisy because of the street noise...but we were there on a weekend so it may be quieter during the week. Breakfast was great as others have also said. There was a bus group one morning, but the room is big enough to cater for everyone..it is just a different ambience when there is a bus tour there.

This hotel is perfectly situated for visiting the Cathedral, University and other historical sites in the city centre. Our front facing room with a balcony had a beautiful views of the Convent of San Esteban. The hotel style was traditional but with all modern facilities needed.

Nice location in 2 mn of historical heart. nice reception, service, breakfast is great and service provided by friendy and smiling Ana, is a must. Negative points: the common areas are quite noisy. In the room the airconditionning is excessively noisy and in breakfast area some chairs protective pads could be added to avoid extra noises coming too soon in the morning.

This is a nice hotel, the staff is very kind. This is not the best choice for people with any physical disability because the hotel has many stairs, and no ramps. Adding some little details would make the experience better, such as providing hair conditioner in the bathroom, offering a free bottle of water as a courtesy, and having a coffee maker in the room. Breakfast is great.

Great hotel just round the corner from the university and the cathedral. Kind and accommodating staff, nice breakfast buffet, good cleaning (stayed there for four nights) and a wonderful terrace to enjoy a glass of white wine.

We stayed there for 3 days in March 2017. The rooms were well appointed and quiet. It is a short distance from all the city attractions. There is a hill you must walk up to get to the shopping streets but not a difficult task. We will stay here again if we return to Salamanca.

We stayed only for 1 night while on our way to Madrid. There's not much to see in the small town but very neat and clean! Beautiful location and very friendly staff. One of the staff took our car to park at the back of the hotel. We had dinner at a close by restaurant. Very nice! We will recommend this hotel to all our friends.

Great locaion and overall good value however horrendous parking facility. Towels do not match the quality of the hotel and difficulty in running the bath due to the glass screen only moving one way.Shower head in non flexible and it should be possible to alter the angle.

Nicely decorated, friendly staff, perfectly situated in the very centre, easy to reach. Our groundfloor room a little noisy. Car was parked for us at a rate of aprox. 18€/day. Didn't try the restaurant. We had a simple but obviously much cheaper breakfast next door.
