Great shower , good WiFi , comfortable bed , Very large hotel. Food Ok , breakfast good. The room got a bit hot difficult to alter the temperature but opening the window soon remedied that. Great bar , very generous measures compared to the UK , Great Gin & Tonic. Would stay here again & would recommend.

Stayed here on a Leger coach tour. The room was pleasant and large but the food was so dreadful that the second night we didn't bother. Also they don't serve any food AT ALL except for a ham and cheese sandwich before 8pm so you can't even buy your own meal earlier rather than wait for the tour package deal .There is nowhere nearby to buy any meals. The second night we stayed in Salamanca to eat - absolutely wonderful - and caught the bus back to Hotel Regio - number 20 and €1.40. I like the decor at the hotel so am pleased to have seen it. Breakfast isn't good either. Stay here if you must and catch the no. 20 bus into Salamanca,

Great value and a lovely outdoor pool, I return again every year, usually on route to the ferry ports.Hotel in the Spanish style with reasonable food and comfortable beds. Plenty of on site parking and convenient to visit salamanca

Stayed two nights on our tour of Spain. This hotel is a typical Spanish hotel with quite dated decor , large comfortable bedrooms with aire conditioning . There is a bonus of a large garden and a huge swimming pool perfect for relaxing after a long journey or hard sightseeing . The dining room is on the side of the building with an outside terrace. The food was good, freshly prepared and served in a friendly manner. The campsite uses the same reception as the hotel, many coaches use this property and the car park which surrounds the hotel on three sides is huge.

Stayed one night on a Leger break. Whilst the hotel was fine with a lovely swimming pool and bar the food we had as part of our package was appalling. Served by staff who seemed to resent our being there. Glad we only stayed one night.

Our visit in our own car was to see Salamanca, but to stay on the outskirts with a good price for half board and ample safe under cover car parking. The Regio fitted the bill perfectly with friendly staff and above average carefully presented delicious meals. The entrance lounge was large and in need of refurbishment. Beyond that, the hotel was clean and had large comfortable rooms, most with balconies. Wifi throughout. In mid-May the outside swimming pools had not been brought into use after the Winter closedown. There is an adjacent campsite which appeared to be connected, but we heard no noise. If you visit Salamanca, in addition to wandering around the Plaza Mayor, you must visit Casa Lis, the Museum of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Even if you aren't into art of this kind or museum shop souvenirs, this museum shop has an unbelievably extensive range of non-standard unusual items at reasonable prices which offer unusual gift-buying opportunities seldom found elsewhere. We stocked up with gifts for family and friends

This hotel is adjacent the main road out of Salamanca to Madrid, stayed in the camping area next to the hotel. Plenty of pitches although some were waterlogged, good facilities for washing up and showering. Good menu in the hotel at a discounted rate for campers, €8.50/€10 for a good plateful of well cooked food, Swimming pool closed for the winter season. An excellent stopover.

We use this hotel as a stop over when traveling to or from northern spain. It is well situated for the main routes and has ample free car parking. If you want to visit Salamanca then the bus stop is in the car park so it is very convenient. The rooms are very clean and the public areas are welcoming. The restaurant is very popular and the breakfast is good value. The staff are helpful and if you like to get online the WiFi is free.

We have stayed here a few times as it is a natural stopping off place when traveling to and from Portugal for the Spanish ferry ports. The Hotel is getting on a bit now but does show a more opulent past with lots of marble everywhere, I have one big criticism, that is that dinner starts at 8.30, far to late for us when traveling, so we go up to the shopping centre for eats. Breakfast was good though although the waiter was a bit surly.

We have stayed at this hotel before. It is on the outskirts of Salamanca with plenty of free car parking for residents. The hotel itself is very dated, however it is clean & the staff are very nice & helpful. There is a bus service that runs from the hotel to the city centre, it does take you around the houses a bit but at 1 euro 40 cents its very reasonable & it runs regularly, you can pick a timetable up at reception. If you take a taxi expect to pay about 12 euros on the way & 10 on the way back. It is worth a trip into Salamanca, at night especially it is very beautiful. We will stay at this hotel again however it could probably do with an update now.
