Hotel and room very clean, staff kind and responsive.
I was somewhat skeptical prior to my arrival that I would be staying at "just another airport hotel". However, that was not the case. The staff were smiling and pleasing upon check-in. The room was amazingly clean with all the right touches. If you are looking for a quality place this property is the one for you.

If you just glance at the place it looks great. If you look at it too long you can see that it needs a lot of cleaning and repairs made. The place has been completely booked for a long period of time with extended stay bookings and you can definitely tell it.
ridiculous management practices. Scheduled check-in on a Saturday evening, but management decided to cancel my reservation on Friday morning simply because they wanted to make more room for Bayou Classic visitors.
The first floor smelled so strongly like mildew/mold that we changed rooms 3 times and ended up on the third floor. Not terrible but that place needs cleaning up big time. Definitely a disappointment to the Holiday Inn standard.
