I'm really really upset with orbitz I will never booked anything with them anymore when I got to my hotel I had no reservation even though I had a reservation number from orbitz/email and the hotel was completely booked and every hotel with in 30 mins driving time I called orbitz 1 800 number and they couldn't give and answer of what happen they will never get my business again

Upon arriving in my room I decided to pull the comforter off to my surprise I found a pair of panties obviously the room bed was never cleaned after the last customer I contacted the front office and was moved to another room the clerk felt the dis was normal in the hotel industry needless to say I did not return for a second night

Staff was very friendly and professional. This hotel is older. The area of Sacramento where the hotel is located has a steady flow of urban campers in the vicinity (homeless). The price is fair for the accommodations.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. My only problem was that it seems to be in a nice area of Sacramento but the people you see using the other rooms are a little concerning. My two children felt a little uncomfortable walking past groups of people smoking cigarettes and people screaming at each other outside of their rooms. Overall though, it was a nice stay and I would probably stay there if I needed to again.

While on vacation, I was incorrectly charged and extra $213 by hotel clerk because they charged my debit card instead of Orbitz's account. There was no manager available to speak to for two days. I called and left messages for them to call me back but have not gotten a reply. While I was waiting to check out, there were other customers in the lobby with complaints trying to speak to a manager as well.

The beds exterior and room was circa 1980''s The charge was normal LA Quinta price...... not a value.

The facility was in the process of undergoing renovation, which is much needed. However, that left only one elevator that was available and it is at the extreme end of the property, which means a lot of walking up and down stairs or across the walkways through the ever present marijuana smell. This is a non-smoking facility, but the smoking of marijuana is still smoking and it needs to be enforced. Not everyone likes the smell and it is inconsiderate of others to force their indulgence on others that might not appreciate the residue on their own clothes. There seems to be a minimum of front desk and office help during the renovation, but they were satisfactory in attending to the check in and check out.

Limited TV channels. No micro or fridge. Very comfortable bed for a very good nights sleep. Small breakfast selection, but it did the trick. Good selection of restaurants nearby Strings (Italian), the usual fast food and Starbucks.

The Bathroom was gross (mold ) tip to staff (Bleach kills mold) also there was a bottle of empty vodka under the mattress ....... I had to wipe the bathroom before using the toilet (because the toilet the inside its all stained (it seems the staff only flush the toilet and say I cleaned it) This place is just gross!!!!!!!!!!

on an emergency stay, this hotel provided all that was needed. From calm to good staffing. Cleanliness and privacy. Thank you.

This is NOT a 3 star hotel but more like a .5 star if there were such a rating. The room was dirty around the bathroom the furniture was badly stained. The room smelled like cigarettes even with the carpet and air deodorizer abundantly used. Body lotion was not with the provided toiletries. I called the front desk to request some but was told they do not provide body lotion. During the night the ac kept clanking and grinding. I finally had to turn it off and only use the fan during a hot humid night. I hardly slept and was totally exhausted for work the next day. The last inconvenience for me was being told I could not print a document even tho it was only 1 page. This was the worst stay ever in my life.

The hotel overall was OK. One recommendation I would make is to improve cleanliness by separating rooms for people with pets. The staff were great!

Stayed there with my 2 kids. Was scared the whole time. Lots of shady characters hanging around most of the time. Walls are thin, heard people all night and morning. Pool closed for first 2 days of our stay and that was one of the main reasons for booking. Looks like some people may be living there. Trash around most times. My door looked like it had been broken into already. Carpets old and stained. Bathroom smelled. Bought a freshner and it was almost gone in 2 days. I wanted to go somewhere else but booked and paid already and had no more money. The location is good right off freeway with in n out burger next to it and gas station and target down the road. Staff ok. Not super friendly. Never ate the free bkft due to rooms and characters, was too scared. Would never stay here again

Stayed here for one night while in town picking up a car. Specifically requested non-smoking when booking room, when we checked in we were given a smoking room. My partner went downstairs to ask if we could be moved to a non-smoking and the staff did not know that the room they assigned us was actually a smoking room (?). They switched us no problem. Our non-smoking room was much cleaner. The king size bed was super comfy and as we always travel with my dog, we were glad that La Quinta is pet-friendly for no extra charge. They have a hot tub and pool, and we went into the hot tub, but I'm a bit iffy on what they treat the water with - water felt greasy and tasted blech when I got my face wet. Couldn't understand why we paid $75 for a standard room when there was no microwave or fridge. Probably would not stay here again. Noticed there was a Motel 6 on the other side of the highway that would have given us the same room and amenities for half the price.

The room was pretty good for a 3 star hotel. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for one night. The breakfast wasn't a buffet breakfast, it consisted of some bagels, cream cheese, and coffee.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. My only problem was that it seems to be in a nice area of Sacramento but the people you see using the other rooms are a little concerning. Overall though, it was a nice stay and I would probably stay there if I needed to again.

However, that left only one elevator that was available and it is at the extreme end of the property, which means a lot of walking up and down stairs or across the walkways through the ever present marijuana smell. This is a non-smoking facility, but the smoking of marijuana is still smoking and it needs to be enforced. Not everyone likes the smell and it is inconsiderate of others to force their indulgence on others that might not appreciate the residue on their own clothes. There seems to be a minimum of front desk and office help during the renovation, but they were satisfactory in attending to the check in and check out.
