What I liked about this hotel is the location, its very close to UCD and it's pet friendly. We took our dog for a walk and two blocks behind the hotel there's a park with a big garden it's also were they set up the Farmers Market for Saturdays and Wednesday's. At night we took a stroll down the street and it was awesome there's a lot of little stores and places were you can just stop and grab something to eat. The streets are lit up ready for the holidays. Beautiful, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel also offers a continental breakfast that includes fresh fruits, bagels, pastries, cereal, yogurt and let's not forget nice fresh hot coffee.

Hotel staff were courteous and the room was clean and in a good location close to university and downtown .eating places were in walking distance as well as the movie theater cool location.

We carefully read reviews and decided to book this hotel. The building is a bit old but the clianliness and comfort were nothing to complain for the price we paid. The breakfast was super simple and minimum. Still, nothing to complain for the price we paid.

For the price, this hotel is great. Downtown, quaint and cozy. I'd recommend this hotel if you're trying to stay in a quiet area but close enough to walk to get something to eat.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Room was clean. Just a weird smell coming out of the toilet.

You'd not expect fancy for the price, but c'mon -- you are in the heart of Davis, and can walk to anything there. Rooms have wall unit AC and heat, and the fan runs continually (a plus, and better than cycling on and off with AC coming on and off) Breakfast is functional: yogurts (light and regular), cereal, some bagels and muffins, limited fruit. But clean and for the price and location, it's a good deal

It's location is incredible. You are at a walking distance from markets shops caffees everything. The reception young girl is extremely helpful and kind. The food is good it is not fancy but simple and good. I loved it there and it was my first time.

We had a nine hour layover in Sacramento, so decided to make the layover in Davis, so we could walk from the train station to the Econo Lodge. Perfect for this. Room was fine and we rested and showered before walking back to the Amtrak Station.

I've stayed here twice now and have been pleased each time. The staff is polite and helpful, the rooms are basic mid/lower end but clean and functional, and the location is great for downtown. The fresh flowers in the window boxes are a nice touch too.

Gooe sized, clean room in a great downtown location. The flowers in the window boxes were a charming touch.

The room was generally clean and good, but old and the fridge was noisy.

I recently stay at this hotel because the location is very good for the downtown Davis. The price is reasonable.

This little hotel has what you need: good location, comfortable room, polite staff. It also offers free wi-fi. I'm always pleased with this. No-frills, but very practical for my business trip.

The Econo Lodge was better than I expected. Good sized room, comfortable bed, couple of extra chairs, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker and okay continental breakfast. The room and the bathroom were very clean--no sign of mold/mildew in room 205. Great location, walking distance to lots of restaurants.

I was attending a conference at UC Davis and found that the location was perfect; the hotel was located in the center of downtown Davis and was only about a 10 min. walk. There are some very good restaurants nearby and there was a farmers market in one of the quads. I found that the room was very clean but was pretty outdated (a mixture of light fixtures and some very old and stained armchairs). The bathroom was more updated and the continental breakfast was adequate. There was a bit of noise from the train that passed by frequently and the students who were out late, but it didn't bother me too much. Decent hotel for a good price.

If you need a cheap, centrally located hotel in Davis, this is it

Hotel nice! The staff is very friendly! Near Davies city commercial flourishing ground,5 minutes walk to UCD. We stayed 5 nights and increase for 3 more nights. Breakfast is right.

This is a wonderful hotel conveniently located walking distance to everything downtown. The cleanliness is inpecible, the staff couteous, the continental breakfast plentiful. The only thing I would change is staffing office starting at 6:00am instead of 7:00am on weekdays.

Very good indeed! Short distance from everything! If you came to go at UCDavis it is on a walking distance of almost all the places there! Good quality place.
