We made a reservation and paid for a hotel room. We were told that we had to check in by 9:30pm. Given the fact that we were traveling a long distance on roads that had lots of construction delays, we realized that we might not make it to the hotel by 9:30pm. At 4pm we called to inform the hotel that we might not be able to arrive by 9:30pm, and they told us that if we did not arrive by 10:30pm, they would cancel our reservation, despite the fact that we had already paid in full. I have never heard of such lunacy in all the years that I have traveled. We just happened to arrive by 9pm, and the hotel attendant never told us what time checkout was when he handed us the keys. At 10am the next morning, a cleaning person informed us that we were supposed to check out by 10am. The checkout time was not posted anywhere in the room, and the person who check us in never informed us of a 10am checkout. Additionally, there was lots of dirt and dust behind the nightstand and around the beds.
Exceeded our expectations. We typically stay at a Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn in the area both both were booked. We would definitely stay here again!! No complaints

Motel was easy to find, close to stores, we had a good stay, room was spacious, beds comfortable, bathroom not that great, no shower head and it was not a walk in shower, the pool was good, game room where the pool table is, needs a bigger space.
Room was very good Problem with overhead fan was fixed immediately.
The place was clean and kid friendly. Havung the lottle playground for younger kids was so important. I do wish they would hose down the little houses, one of them had a spider living in it. Otherwise we were very happy.

Basically you get what you pay for. Not awful and not terrific. The room is adequate. It smells like “spray”. The owners have tried to enforce a no smoking policy but obviously it hasn’t worked. They need to deep clean the carpets, drapes and rugs. The owners seemed nice but they could do a lot to elevate the motel. Get rid of the fake hanging baskets and replace with real ones, make the office more appealing, update the decor, etc.
Very close to grocery and the beach. The owners are doing everything possible to provide a good vacation. The units may be a little "old" compared to big box hotels in the area, but we much preferred this experience. We wish the owners the best, they work very hard to make every guest comfortable.

To whom who reading this, this guest failed to read hotel policy mentioned in our online partner's website. out of courtesy front desk decided to make arrangement for their afterhours check in however they lied that they would be arriving very late matter of fact they reached hotel before office closed and went straight to the room without showing up to the office to complete check in process.
