Welcome to Sabres, in the heart of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Park, where the forest stretches over 16,000 hectares. Its healthy air invites you to take walks and the Marquèze district, which has become the Ecomusée de la grande Lande, offers visitors the magic of its tranquility and art of living. Board the century-old train to discover the riches of a heritage and know-how of yesteryear. Nestled in a private enclosed airial and only 40 km from the ocean, we welcome you to this authentic 19th century Landes house, entirely rebuilt identically with natural eco-construction materials and techniques. Earth and lime plasters, half-timbering and beams in Landes pine, thermodynamic boiler, pellet stove... have been used to best integrate our eco-lodge into its environment. You will enjoy a private swimming pool, 8x4 m, depth 1.20m to 1.50m secured by a fence in ganivelles and a roller shutter, usable from June to September and depending on the weather. This independent house fitted out on the ground floor with mezzanine is composed of a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge freezer), 3 bedrooms on the ground floor (2 beds 160, 1 bed 140), a dormitory room upstairs (4 beds 90), a bathroom (with bathtub, and shower) and 2 separate toilets, a private shower room in one of the bedrooms, a storeroom (washing machine). Sheets, household linen and WIFI are provided. Terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, bikes of all sizes available to be confirmed with the owner before arrival. PETS: possibility to come with 2 dogs maximum with supplement (8 € per day and per animal), beyond that agreement of the owners essential. CATS NOT allowed.
