I stayed here and visited nearby attractions with ease.

We originally had four days reserved here. We only endured for two days. The rooms are not clean and smell like smoke, even though the sign on front say non-smoking. We soon figured out why. The smoke from the other rooms gets into the ventilation and was coming into ours. We had a hard time breathing. We were changed rooms twice because of this, but the situation didn't improve. The staff was not friendly. They did acknowledged that the rooms smelled like smoke. Also, People were speaking loud in the hallway and kept waking us up at every hour of the night. We couldn't stand it anymore so we left after two days. We lost our money as the front office didn't issue a refund. At that point I didn't care. I just wanted to get out of this terrible place.

The hotel was convenient to the highway and rest. Clean and well kept

First of all being ignored by 2 employees was ridiculous. The room was only so so Old sheets that were pilling old pillows. Noisey AC unit that we had to jam a telephone book into to stop the rattle. Our view was plastic with blue tape our door had gaps unit so you could hear everything in hall Repair above the shower was falling and Not painted . I would not recommend

For the time I needed to be in Florida this was a lovely Inn. The staff was always around when needed, room was keeper very clean. Looked like they may have been remodeling some rooms and this did not interfere with the guest amenities. I am very satisfied with my stay and have no real complaints, which is very nice considering that the job I have I knit pick every detail to the extreme.

Just in town to go to Biusch Gardens and then onto the Ruskin Drive In Movie theater....VERY special place. Nice hotel reasonably priced. I bit of an olf hotel but they keep it nice and tend to strive to make you seem welcome

The staff was polite but the hotel needs to be updated.

This hotel is fine for an overnight stay. The staff is pleasant and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is only so-so.

You should change the carpet. It is old and destroy in a few places

Hotel is older, but clean and adequate for an overnight stay. the wi-fi worked well for me. The pool looked inviting, though we did not come prepared to use it. Our major complaint was that several times the phone rang with no one there - just clicking sounds. After 4-5 times with in an hour we disconnected it and were happy thereafter! Fortunately, this was before we settled down for the night. The breakfast was adequate, but not "super." Folks in the neighborhood are likely wondering where their mosquitoes are breeding. Many are coming from the pool of water at the rear of the motel. Drainage there is inadequate.

The staff was friendly and the hotel is clean given it's age. The bed in the room we were in should have been replaced LONG ago - woke up both days with a backache.

Booked this hotel based on existing good reviews and was not disappointed. Though not of new construction, the building is very well kept and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and odor free. Would definitely recommend it for those visiting the area.

The only reason we stay here is because it is close to Sun City Center. There are not many choices in the area and all the choices have issues. This hotel tends to have the least number of issues compared to the others nearby.

Was lucky to find a room during spring break! Gor lucky with thie Ruskin Inn. Clean and quiet, great overnight stay,

Old,dirty, litter everywhere outside, unusable pool-algae coated, unfriendly staff, dirty bedding, toilet did not flush right, had to ask for towels and clean bedding. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

While on a business trip to Port Charlotte, I had to add another stop at the last min. Having stayed at the Ruskin Inn about 2 years earlier, I quickly reserved another stay so I could accommodate another customer nearby. The Ruskin Inn was as I remembered it the last time. It's not as fancy as some but it is clean and comfortable with a very friendly and helpful staff. While the breakfast was basic, it was free and hot. It is very well situated right off the exit of the Interstate near a shopping center & places to eat. When I am in the area, I will stay there again.

Needed where to stay during and emergency...it was just right

Staff were nice, rooms ok, a little dated, was fine for a couple of fisherman however there would be a real issue if wife had come. When fishing I'll stay there.

Excellent...Cynthia very cheerful...got me great room and had wonderful stay. Clean, quiet and great staff/woners

I was very pleased w/staff and hotel in general...was an incident w/guests running up and down corridor outside my room for about an hour...when I went to front desk was resolved immediately...though guests continued to make rude comments for another 20 minutes when the nice owner left the floor. They slammed a few more doors but that's not the owner's fault...she was terrific and not afraid of them...I'm planning on staying there again
