Staff are great, perfect if flying or traveling out of GVA

Restaurant staff was excellent

The hotel room was very clean and modern, it looks that it was renovated in the not-too-distant past. The hotel staff was responsive though one of the receptionist had a tough time with English and my French is non-existent. They do not validate for the parking, which is a negative.

Convenient location to the airport. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Was a little difficult to find the entrance when driving to the hotel.

Great hotel! The front desk staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The hotel is right across the street from the airport, and within 2 blocks of the tram line to the city center, but Geneva is small enough that I walked one morning into the center. The free transportation pass provided by the hotel was a welcome surprise. I had dinner one night in the hotel and it was excellent, though a glass a champagne seems slightly overpriced, even for Switzerland. It would be helpful if the hotel posted signs in the airport on how to walk to the hotel - I arrived at the SBB station and was initially confused how to get to the hotel, but eventually figured it out. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and everything is very nice. The transportation passes a very nice plus.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER RELATIONS - I feel compelled to share my experience at this property, which was overwhelmingly negative for reasons that really are not expected. First of all, the property is literally 100 yards from the airport, which is fine. The area is nice. However, I had no idea of its proximity and literally waited an hour for the shuttle bus. When it arrived, I was in line in front of at least 10 airline employees, yet was told no rooms were available, as each of the 10 individuals behind me were checked in and provided room keys. When I finally was checked in (at 3pm) I went to my room and was provided with a handicapped accommodation room that literally was entirely non-functional. I will not go in to details, but literally could not take a shower, or use the vanity and the bed was maybe 3 inches off the floor. I called down the front desk, who advised me that because I booked on Orbitz, I was provided with the cheapest room at their property. After much debate, I was offered a standard room. At not one point during my stay did a single staffer, with the exception of the restaurant wait staff, even say "hello, or good morning." At one point, I sat outside on the second floor terrace, drinking a coffee and was asked to leave. I explained I was a registered guest of the hotel and the gentleman advised me the area, which was entirely empty and outside, was reserved and off limits. To be honest I sensed a real anti-American sentiment.

They do not replace the sheets or towels after guests. The room was made up but the first thing I noticed was that the pillowcases were dirty. Not just permanent stains but chunky remnants of food (I hope). When I removed the duvet, there was pubic hair all over the bed. What really got me were the towels in the bathroom were folded strategically to cover up the stains (what appeared to be fresh blood and snot). Additionally, the sleeve of the robe that had similar stains was tucked under so it would not be visible. Completely unsanitary and unacceptable. Also, smoke and cologne smell was covered up by some essential oils placed placed in the room. Makes me gag just thinking about what I experienced in that room. If you have to stay in this hotel request new linens and towels!

We chose the hotel as it was 200 feet from the car rental areas and had a shuttle to the airport. Check in was great with friendly staff. Overall the hotel is aging and has that older hotel smell. Bedding was clean but starting to look more gray than white. Bathrooms were very clean and usable although they still have the old fashioned tub set up instead of a shower. Beware room service as cheeseburgers are $30, $40 with tip and tax and were actually not very good. Salad was better and soup was very good. Overall a hotel that is aging gracefully and is fine as an airport one night stay. We would stay here again.

Location is good. It is clean and always has good atmosphere. Casino is great, people are friendly and helpful. Gym is awesome also.

More of a 4* rather than 5* hotel. Room is spacious, nice comfy pillows, shower in bath is a disappointment. THE negative experience for me was customer service. The staff was incompetent although they seem to want to do their best which thinking about it makes it even worse. I simply requested an international adapter and it took 4 calls and finally with fifth call to the manager an hour later to have it delivered to my room. Then when it finally was delivered in all hectic departure I forgot my own laptop charger. I did not leave the hotel till 6hrs later and did not receive a courtesy call for my forgotten laptop charger. I emailed them when I left the country and was asked to EMAIL my credit card details in order to courier it to me. Once spoken to the front desk manager he took charge in having it couriered early morning next day the latest. It's now four days later and I found out that the charger was sent a day later than promised and to top it off by regular post as well. If I'm lucky it will reach its destination 3-5 business days later with me having left that country again. They tried to make up for it by buying a local adapter and send this by courier without knowing the type of charger fits my laptop and knowing it has a Swiss electricity plug. Thank you movenpick it seems you are very good in bad service and being so incompetent! Stay away from this hotel because they are too good in causing a big problem from a small and simple request.
