La Quinta Inn & Suites Roswell

A nice, clean hotel. My family loved the style of this place, which is why we picked it from the photos. The pool looked bigger in the picture, but was refreshing. For the price you couldn't beat it. However, the best part, is it's in the heart of the city. Everything is close, dining, shopping, and museums. Thanks Orbitz!

We made a last minute hotel reservation as we were driving through Texas and on to Colorado. We like La Quinta's hotels, and the fact that they allow dogs was helpful in this specific instance. The hotel room was updated, the mattresses were cozy and I loved that the room entrances were inside, rather than outside (we arrived late). I would stay here again, as it is close to everything Roswell, NM has to offer.

Nice hotel that appears to have been recently remodeled. The room was big and comfy. The bathroom is always how I judge a hotel, and this one was shiny and new. It definitely won me over. If you find yourself in the land of Alien kitsch, like I did, you cannot go wrong with this hotel.

While this location is central to all things Roswell, there are other, newer, and more comfortable choices in town. The room was OK, but very noisy (nothing like a party in the room next door at 1 am to make your night restful). Bed was OK, room very clean but over all amenities unimpressive, especially at these rates. Breakfast was nice, but quite typical.

I did not receive my wake-up call and the front desk staff was impolite.

It really bothers me when I do not get my scheduled wake-up call and the front desk is rude.

We just stayed one night but this was a very clean hotel. The staff was extremely courteous. The elevator was a bit slow but nothing that hindered our stay there. The room was very clean and was nice. There is a stadium right next door but from inside we couldn't hear the cheers of the "Friday night lights".

The bed was a little soft but overall this was a great experience. The breakfast was really nice with scrambled eggs and waffles. We will stay there again.

Room was clean and nice but the staff was particularly wonderful. They were very helpful and attuned to the needs of the visitors.

Hotel was reasonably comfortable, although the pillows were very thin and I kept getting stuck with feathers.

Just passing through on business - hotel was centrally located for work, just off the main road through town; just north of downtown (NOT walking distance) and a block off the road (made it nice and quiet).

Overall experience was a clean Inn and pleasant staff

Everyything was great, nothing negative to say a very positive experience.

Everything about this hotel was above average. Our stay would have been perfect had the ac unit in the room worked properly. Had to get up several times during the night to turn the unit off, since the thermostat would not shut down the heater at the desired temperature. Hopefully this is an isolated problem and not representative of the entire facility.

The first time I stayed at the Roswell LaQuinta it was just me. On this stay a friend joined me. It was a room with two queen beds which left little room to walk around. There was no place to put a suitcase, let alone two of them. There was no place to hang a towel near the sink. While the staff was empathetic, the design of the room, i.e., lack of space, is unforgivable in a hotel built just a couple of years ago.
