Room wasn’t very clean. Floors in bathroom were dirty. Carpet hadn’t been vacuumed. Sheets and comforter were old. I wouldn’t stay here again. We Were very uncomfortable but had gotten in late so didn’t want to find another hotel.
I have stayed here twice. Once for a week and once just over night. It is the best option in the area. Denny's and a gas station near. The hotel is not overly busy, there is great parking and an indoor pool.
No coffee maker in room. No coffee offered in lobby. No breakfast offered. Does not participate in the choice privileges reward program. Shower does not work. Towels are dirty. Soap not included. Bedding may have been changed, or maybe not. This property is way worse than when it was a motel 6. Nothing says neglect more than this property. Almost nothing works, but there is electricity and plenty of parking.
Laid back stop. Soft sheets and toilet paper. Great water pressure. Awesome staff. Especially housekeeping. It was a pleasant and restful stay. I felt safe and comfortable there. Very little nearby. Might not be great long-term or for families. Good for a few nights, etc. Fair prices. Great vending machines. AMPM across the street is really clean with friendly staff.
We were given a recently painted room, the emergency sprinklers were still taped up and light fixture covers in bath were missing. Sink faucet barely trickled out water but bath pressure was okay. We were unable to use the air conditioner due to the stench it blew in thru the vents. A couple were given the room directly above us about midnight and they moved the large heavy furniture around and stomped loudly for over an hour. The man was using a vape and he was coughing and spitting all alongside our car below. We will not stop here again.
We stayed at the Motel 6 which is now a Road Way Inn. We travel extensively and this is by far the WORST experience in a motel in many years. They advertised a pool and hot tub, neither was working and didn't look like it had been in service for many years. They advertised breakfast which didn't exist. The room was the worst case of pubic hairs everywhere, bathroom sink, bathroom, both beds, floors, everywhere!!! The bedding had not been changed in so long it was absolutely disgusting. The shower didn't work except for a little stream of water through only one shower hole. It didn't really matter since there wasn't enough hot water pressure to make the shower work anyway. The shower head was completely plugged. The sheets and comforter had holes big enough to stick fingers through numerous times a night. Pillows and beds were not hardly usable since they were so uncomfortable. Numerous bugs found, not sure if they were bed bugs or not. NEVER NEVER NEVER STAY HERE
I reserved at the last minute from the road. It concerned me that they temporarily couldn’t take AnEx and then the parking lot was nearly empty. I checked the room first and it was ok Fake wood flooring and cold. I turned up the hater to low but the room got too warm I asked for a room to the fro tront. Lots of road noise Price was right Great old school family burger place just across the interstate at Rice Hill TV was a little hinky Basic
We stayed here for a single night with other family n the room next door. They did give us side by side rooms which was nice. The motel is just standard and mostly a truck stop for travelers, but it worked out fine for a place to sleep for a single night. The sounds of the trucks and other travelers were not too loud and did not disturb my sleep at all. The beds were decent and comfortable enough that I slept well. The rooms were large and it didn't feel crowded with two adults. The air conditioning worked well and it was quiet. They had laminate wood look flooring which has a much cleaner appearance and feel than carpet and probably less offensive to those with allergies as well. This was on par with a Motel 6 or Super 8, no frills, but will do for a night and great on a budget. We had a comfortable stay with no complaints. There are 3 restaurants/drive ins in the area, and a truck stop/convenience store nearby. Denny's is in the truck stop but for a real café/diner meal try the Ranch restaurant next door. They had a good breakfast. Overall, this was a satisfactory stay at a budget price.
We've stayed in several Rodeway Inn's for the last couple years. This one hasn't been upgraded from being a Motel 6. The room was clean. The bed wasn't that comfortable. The good news it was very quiet, even though you can see the hiway and hear the traffic while outside, you can't here the traffic inside the room.
From the time I made my reservation to the time I checked out, I experienced nothing but amazing customer service from every staff member I encountered. I had a minor problem with my reservation (my fault) that was quickly dealt with. The rooms have been recently remodeled and the one I stayed in was immaculately clean. In my experience, great customer service is one of the biggest part of a good stay and everyone at this property definitely hit the mark! Thanks for everything and I will be back if I'm ever in the area again.
