5mins walk from the train station is the highlight of this accommodation. The hotel has all the basics; just the position of the showers is a little awkward - it was in the middle of the room with an open top. It's freezing to take a shower while the heaters were not switched on.
I was completely satisfied about the services and comfort of the room and facilities of WRH suites. Certainly, it can be better with a breakfast service but, due to the very convenient rate, I could not expect more. Finally, I love the facility of the nice terrace where you can spend some nice working and waiting time in a sunshine day in Rome.
The room is big and very comfortable, but particularly noticeable for its design decoration and set-up with bath in the room. Staff is very friendly. And access to a Roman terrace is just a dream in the middle of the city!
I have no idea how this hotel can be rated over 8 on trip advisor.... A complete mystery to me. We had a late arrival (midnight) and we had to pay 15€ in a late arrival fee (no surprise though, we were told in advance, but still). You would expect 24hr reception. The room was spacious, but... 1. Linoleum floor resembling wood that was loose in several places 2. The entire interior had a plastic feeling (probably because most of the stuff was made out of plastic?) 3. The bed was extremely hard (and I mean really really hard) 4. The bed was made with with plastic under sheets which made sounds whenever you moved 5. The "minibar" was empty and warmer than the rest of the room 6. The tram runs outside the window 24/7 and the noise is terrible (also the neighbors every sound is heard) Plus? Location was great and the air conditioning worked like a charm :) Cannot recommend and will not stay there again.
We are very happy with our 5 night stay here! Nothing extravagant, but very comfortable, safe, and close to the Metro, train and bus station, plenty of restaurants, shops, a skip and a hop to a laundry mat, a barber (just in case you're in need of one like my Hunny did) and if you feel like walking to the Trevi fountain, Pantheon or other churches near by, it's only about 20 min. We also had a nice view fin the 3rd floor of the Santa Maria church! I do suggest, if you're going to be here for a couple of days and doing tours and don't mind riding the Metro, get the Metro pass, it's worth it! Other than that, staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms and restroom were very clean. The set up of the rooms are like dorms. Don't let that scare you away tho! It's still very private. There are 4 rooms that share a kitchen with microwave, small fridge, tables and utensils. Hope this helps and that you enjoy your stay here as much as we did!! Happy travels!!
Stayed here for a short break with our daughter during April and stayed in a triple room which was spacious, clean, modern and with a nice modern bathroom, staff were extremely helpful and what a fabulous location, we can't wait to come back again.
These apartments are in a great location but we had a room overlooking Via Farini and it was so noisy we couldn't leave the window open in the morning which was a shame as we love to hear the early morning sounds of Rome but they started far too early for us! The room was extremely well appointed with lovely fit out. The bathroom was well appointed and nicely laid out. Good access to wifi as well. there is a gorgeous terrace near reception which we didn't really discover until after we had checked out - but we will come back here and take full advantage of it next time.
Location is great as it's within 5 mins walk from the Termini station. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. Strong air con. Staff is very friendly. Early check-in allowed for me arriving at around 11am. Wifi could be a problem, but. wifi was free for my stay, but the signal was not strong and you might have to reconnect from time to time. Overall good value for what I paid for.
I checked in with my wife for our honeymoon and the staff was really nice. And that was the only positive thing with this place - the staff was very friendly. PROs: Clean/Near Train Station/Friendly staff CONS: NO AC (Turns on but no cold air comes out, and i was told this was the norm)/NO HOT WATER/Incompetent Owner (Will explain why) I attached a photo of the names of suites that are operated by the same owner but at different names and its in the same location. Seriously, DONT STAY HERE Story: After we were checked in to the hotel, I felt the AC was very weak but I was thinking since we just turned it on, it may take some time so I decided to let it run awhile. By night fall, the room was warm and stuffy. I went to complain and I was informed that the hotel was full but I could change the room the next day. They offered their fan to me. The next day, when I went down, I was informed by the new staff that there is actually NO POINT in changing room because the AC are all the same. So i told them if that's the case then its fine, I want to avoid the hassle of having to repack and unpack. So that same night, I couldn't stand the room temperature anymore so I wanted to sit in the kitchen area to cool down for awhile. As I was walking passed ROOM 4, I could feel strong COLD AIR coming underneath the door! So the next day, our AC died (we can hear it running but absolutely NO air - warm or cold - was coming out of the vent) so I went down to ask if I could change room and they said the room was full already and they called the owner who then told them to tell me that "we offered you a room change beforehand and YOU refused." I responded by saying your staff told me all the rooms' AC were the SAME but it obviously isn't the case since Room 4 was bursting with freezing cold air. Additionally, the AC was DEAD this time so I DO need to change to a room with at least a working AC. Since there's no rooms for me to change, I asked if I could just get a refund for the last night, and my wife and I will just find another hotel on the same street. The staff remained nice but his hands were obviously tied as he couldn't make any decisions. He called the owner who said no refund - regardless of the situation at hand. I understand if an AC is weak that there's nothing you can do since we're getting what we paid for at this price. HOWEVER, there's obviously strong ACs in other rooms, and lastly the AC actually DIED on our last night. We were able to stand the lack of hot water in the shower ONLY because a cold shower was the ONLY way for us to cool down from the hot Roman weather once we're back in our room.
upon arriving we were notified that the lift wasn't working so my 80 year old parents had to lug the three suitcases up four flights of stairs! Upon check in i was sure that I had paid the full amount on my credit card however the staff member on check in told me I hadn't so I was to pay the full amount in cash. Since there are no staff after 10 and before 9 I wasn't able to fix up this mistake. I notified the hotel immediately and they said they would deposit the money however I waited several weeks until they found a way that wouldn't land them in a whole lot of service fees.
